Haven't had a chance to post for a couple of days, and reading on my smartphone has been far too difficult, so I thought as I'm not working this morning that I'd catch up.

Belated happy birthday to happy.

Well the omeprazole that I was prescribed for the heartburn seems to have stopped the heartburn, which is a relief, but I'm still having problems with hiccups, bloating and wind, and I've been feeling really nauseous for the past few days (not sure if this is the medication, or some leftovers from the bug that I think I've had recently). I'm hoping that it's the bug, so that I will feel better soon.

Moon and I are going shopping on Sunday for some maternity clothes, as I literally only have one pair of trousers now that does up. So we're off to Southampton as there are loads of shops there that we don't have here. I'm hoping that the car journey won't be too bad and that I don't need the toilet so much now. We're seeing my Nana in her new nursing home in the morning (she goes in today), so hope she's not too distressed. At least we can show her the scan pictures now to distract her a little bit.

Cartwheels, leapfrogs, somersaults...you name it and im doing it. Still not given up hope of joining 2012 Gymnastic squad but its looking unlikely now.

Hey sexymouse im glad the heartburn is a bit better. It really is minging when you cant get rid of it.

Hope you have a nice day tomorrow and your nan enjoys your pictures. Mine is 98 and still gets tearful when i go and visit and she can see im having another baby. They are so cute arent they!

My Nana is 94 and has Alzheimer's, so I'm really pleased that I was able to tell her my good news whilst she's still lucid enough to understand what is happening. She was amazed when I told her that I could show her a picture of the baby whilst it was still inside me!

Yes well they never had the joy of scans in them days did they sexymouse so it all must be a bit strange to them. My nana looked at my picture like she had such seen alien life for the first time. Im lucky that although she is immobile she is quite lucid and she just adores still knowing what is going on. I have a pic of her with my DS when he was about an hour old and im hoping to be able to take an identical one when this little monkey pops out. Think im becoming sentimental.

I suppose they do look a little alien-like at this stage (13 weeks). My Mum was even amazed when she saw the scan pictures as when she had us, they were so grainy, you could hardly make out a baby at all. She came to an early scan with me at 6 weeks, and couldn't get over the fact that they could find something so small on an ultrasound.

I was quite happy lurking around the bottom. The worst thing is I expect to give birth a lot sooner than that cos the doctors will induce me by 23rd April so i'm climbing rapidly up that list.

I can't believe its getting real. Like next month! Its my birthday in a couple of weeks and its a big birthday and I hope they come before then.

Happy birthday Happy and LC's daughter. Looks like we've both gone from having the same EDD to coming early.

Plan for today is to wash the babies clothes and iron. Make sure my hospital bags are packed. Struggling with what snacks to add at the moment, I have cereal bars and some lucozade but thats it so far. What else would you take? I'm not a huge snacker but maybe I should add some buscuits and stuff. OH can snack for england so i'm trying to think about him too. I'm thinking of putting a big bottle of water in the freezer cos i've heard the wards get really hot.
Still need bedroom slippers and nursing bras even tho my baps haven't really grown :mad:

Looks like its a free listing weekend again this weekend so I'm attempting to raise some funds as we still need a new car before the babies are born. My pushchair and car seats still haven't arrived even though we ordered them in Feb. I'm hoping they come soon as I'm getting a bit worried in case the babies come early.

Anyone else feel like shrek? 've put on 20kgs so far and I'm huge, swollen and feel fat and even makeup isn't helping. Just feels like I'm polishing a turd! :rotfl:
