Our old letting agent just showed up yet again to try to do an inspection of the house we bought after we moved out. Nowt like standing on your own doorstep having to convince someone who is sure that as you're a "tenant" you must be a liar - that you own the house he's trying to get the door open from!Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

OMG when did I get to number 25 on the list?
I was quite happy lurking around the bottom. The worst thing is I expect to give birth a lot sooner than that cos the doctors will induce me by 23rd April so i'm climbing rapidly up that list.
Plan for today is to wash the babies clothes and iron. Make sure my hospital bags are packed. Struggling with what snacks to add at the moment, I have cereal bars and some lucozade but thats it so far. What else would you take? I'm not a huge snacker but maybe I should add some buscuits and stuff. OH can snack for england so i'm trying to think about him too. I'm thinking of putting a big bottle of water in the freezer cos i've heard the wards get really hot.
Still need bedroom slippers and nursing bras even tho my baps haven't really grown
Looks like its a free listing weekend again this weekend so I'm attempting to raise some funds as we still need a new car before the babies are born. My pushchair and car seats still haven't arrived even though we ordered them in Feb. I'm hoping they come soon as I'm getting a bit worried in case the babies come early.
Anyone else feel like shrek? 've put on 20kgs so far and I'm huge, swollen and feel fat and even makeup isn't helping. Just feels like I'm polishing a turd! :rotfl:
Dashikii - stop worrying! I am about a month after you, and I looked at the ticker of an iPad app this morning saying 82 days left, and realised that we will be at least 2 weeks early (consultant mentioned induction after 37 weeks), so no more than 68 days really! Just 2 months, hoping they don't come too early, as I want my time off work! Have been looking forward to this for a long time, and have way too many plans for at least a month to find time to give birth (whom am I kidding?)
Which pram did you order and from where? I can't remember. We are going for the Baby Jogger, now just thinking where to order it from - Glasgow pram centre and have it delivered (they do 10% TAMBA discount) or Wigan Pramworld, which is more expensive, but close by, so we can go and buy it on the spot. I just know it is going to be red (all red if 2011 model, and black seat with red hood if 2012 model).
I am still waiting for the Mothercare to delivery the changing dresser. To be fair, they said delivery 20-25 days, but it does say on my account that it has been dispatched 'via Separate courier'. I am not oing to chace it up until April, because then I am home and can be sure I am in to receive it.
I have put 13kgs by now. I am not feeling swallen or anything, but the bump is growing and I seemto start strugling withthis keyboard when I have a report to read in front of me (like now). However, only today and 3 more days left for me, so can't complain really! And what did you sy, make-up? Waht is that and what you do with it? Ok, I have never been a big user of make-up, but I haven't bothered in this pregnancy with it at all!!!!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

I can't believe its getting real. Like next month! Its my birthday in a couple of weeks and its a big birthday and I hope they come before then.
Happy birthday Happy and LC's daughter. Looks like we've both gone from having the same EDD to coming early.

We've been told at the parentcraft classes (next one today - oh joy!) to make sure we take something for the men to munch on since "we won't feed 'em and you don't want them sloping off to join the queue in Costa Coffee when you need them on hand."
Been and bought mini-toiletries for the hospital bag (if I need bigger stuff hubby can bring from home - I ain't planning on staying in!), and flip flops in the event of utterly rank shower floors... and more babywipes since they're £1 for Johnsons in Tescos atm.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -

its not as bad as you think to be honest, it gets hectic around 10am when were preparing work for the day etc but i wouldnt change it for the world, educationally there doing fantastic and socially they have a better social life than i do. there not doing work today but will make up for it over easter because we dont really have holidays, when we go to tesco etc they learn maths skills. it does get busy or a little bit annoying when we have apointments and have to drag them around with us but its just the same during school holidays for other parents, an i couldnt cope with school runs, the kids definatley couldnt.0

I know you're right Gin, I really do need to stop worrying. I think its because I don't feel organised and ready yet. Once I have all the essentials sorted then I can relax a bit.
Well, we went for the bugaboo donkey in the end. Cost a fortune but they resell on ebay for about 80% of the purchase price. Got a really good deal at the babyshow at excel in Feb. Also got the cabriofix car seats and saved ourselves about £400 in total. I expect to change the pushchair after about 18months lol.lovecrafting wrote: »thanks for the happy birthday wishes.

23rd of April makes us 38 weeks and the doctors intend to induce me by then. Its not fair that the baps haven't grown. I've never really had baps and I thought with twins I was guranteed to go from a b cup to a double D :rotfl:. But it might have just been wishful thinking. I'm still wearing the same bra from before my BFP.
How long will a sandwich last if not in the fridge? Sorry if its a stupid question, but when i'm hungry I want proper food not a snack. (Ideally a double whopper with cheese)
Oh and I think I have that SPD thingymajig.0
