Mines still a bit like that at 35 weeks! The skin still doesn't feel tight or stretched yet!

I had a lovely afternoon, we'd been out doing some jobs and I got DH to drop me off at the far end of the village and then I walked back. it meant I could walk through the park and past the windmill, i normally don't do that anymore as its too far if I have to walk there and back. then I sat in the garden with a cuppa and my kindle for a while in the sunshine. It was lovely.

Does anyone have a mothercare moses basket? I got mine second hand and now I can't get the hood bit to stay up. I'm not sure its fastened on properly. I went to our local mothercare to have a look today but they don't have any in there.

Just wanted to update people on the antenatal classes situation. Called the midwife today who advised that they don't offer any! All you get is a 2 hour class on active birthing which is towards the end of the pregnancy. Seems a bit naff to me!

How am I supposed to know what to do when it pops out?!

they don't tell you that at antenatal sadly and if one more person tells me babies don't come with a manual I'll not be responsible for my own actions.

Although it's the off switch I've been searching for...

Happy birthday happy and lcs daughter.

So 35 weeks today where has the time gone.
Finished work today and whilst I am relieved I am also wondering what I will do with myself for the next 5weeks. Oh is relieved as he hated the long commute I had. one of my baby books advises not to waste energy nesting but save the energy for birth not sure I could go 5weeks using that excuse.
Think I may do some baking yummy sweet stuff and if its any good freeze it for the visitors after baby arrives.
Was spoilt at work with gifts was very overwhelmed.
Now having a little lie down.
We have a private.mw coming tomorrow in place of the antenatal classes that were run local s I went to one and not only was it stupidly late at night but taught me nothing I had read or seen on here. She is going to talk through labour pain relief and anything else we wanted.

I have a toy R us one but noticed there are a couple of screws that are covered by the hood material that need to be tightened to hold up the hood maybe the mothercare one has something similar

Awake early on a weekend as my hips are so sore I can't get comfy.

Only one day left in the office which is Monday and I only have to be there a few hours as there is nothing to do really because they've unplugged all the computers etc. Also got a meeting to register with an agency that day so I'm hoping they can get me some temp work as I don't think I could manage five months at home before baby arrives.

Got paid my redundancy yesterday, nice to see it in my account and hopefully if I can get some work the majority can be spent on getting the house ready for the arrival of LO. Took DH out for tea last night, we went to a local Chinese, 4 courses for £9.95 each, I really know how to treat him :rotfl: We are off to a fancy restaurant on Sunday for our anniversary so it didn't need to be anywhere special.

Happy did you have a nice time at the Chinese with your dad and DS?

I woke up early to buy a few bits on the next online sale but the site is not bl00dy working!!! :mad: It doesn't help that I've had the most uncomfortable nights sleep but i just need it to work so I can sleep on the sofa.
