Good news today is that when I got home from my Nana's there was a letter waiting for me with the results of the Down's Syndrome blood test that we had on Monday - baby's adjusted risk is 1:20940 (so low).

I'm excited - my sister-in-law had her baby on thursday, and we're going to see them tomorrow! So I get to have newborn baby cuddles tomorrow, yay! (just not mine, yet!)

ETA just seen on the other thread you're having your anomaly scan in 4.5 weeks. What date is it? Mine's Tuesday 24th April.

Evening All
Hope everyone enjoyed the warm sunny day

Had a private midwife visit today and whilst on the surface may not seem MSE we learnt more in the three hours with her than I believe any number of NHS classes (2 hrs for 4 weeks) could have taught us. We ran over by an hour but she was more interested in chatting to us and showing us different things that the time flew and she only wanted the initial 2 hour payment.
The time was spent discussing labour, birth, options re pain relief, post natal but she also gave me lots advice about local services etc. Oh and she showed OH have to massage me so a free massage included:j
Both me and OH feel so positive now and can't wait to meet our little man.:D

I think Bellola was saying there is no classes in her area - if money allows it might be an idea to see if there are any local independent midwifes.


Then went with a friend to the local pub to sit in the garden with an OJ it was too nicer a day not too.

Hope tomorrow is as warm & sunny

thanks hun, it will sort itself out i just have to wait for my claim to go thru.

we went off to the beach today, well we went to fleetwood and atempted a walk on the beach but i was too hot so went and sat in the car. then we went home via blackpool and saw some right weirdo's. kids are now tucked up in bed and i am going to watch a film with dh and fall asleep i think.

i am so ready for this baby to come out, i know she isnt ready yet but omg she is annoying me today.
