I know it's hard Dizzi. Id definitely phone your GP later and cause a right fuss if you don't have any joy. It's important for you and baby that you get something and start to feel a bit better. Let us know how you get on xx

Yeah - I know the staff at ante-natal yesterday were telling me I HAD to go to the dentists and get antibiotics for this tooth... now the dentist's telling me to go to the GP... just know the GP's going to send me somewhere else and I'm at my wits end. I can't eat properly, I can barely talk or function, as for sleep - haven't had more than snatched 5 minuteses in front of the telly for days.

Unfortunately it's the GP late night so can't even ring them till they reopen at 4 either.

Feeling incredibly sorry for myself - other people breeze through life, get pregnant easy, the word miscarriage doesn't enter their vocabulary, and then they have straightforward pregnancies - I've just gone from emotional to physical agony for years - when the heck is life going to cut me a break for a few months?!

Do you have a dental access clinic in your area, my dentist (ADP) refused to do anything other than a botch job time after time and left a infection festering away, the access clinic took my tooth out straight away but the infection had spread to my jaw bone and now I am suffering a series of complications.

If you dont have a access clinic, phone your NHS's dental helpline, they may tell you to go to your hospital to the maxfax clinic or to another dentist.

Sorry you are in pain Dizzi :( I agree with others, tell the doctor he/she needs to sort you out with some antibiotics, surely being exhausted and stressed due to the pain is not good. As an aside, is there a specific reason why your dentist will not work on the tooth? I only ask as I had really bad tooth pain recently and the emergency dentist removed the tooth with no questions (it was a wisdom tooth), he injected the local anaesthetic and I felt nothing for a few hours after. Could you see another dentist who might be more sympathetic?

Hope you get it sorted soon,

Lucy, Congratulations! And labour vibes to all who need this.

Dizzy - sorry to hear about your toothache. Please, at least call your GP and tell him that you need antibiotics, as dentist told you. Tell him that the dentist could not prescribe them to you and needed GP to do this. Surely, they can take the pen out of pocket and give you a prescription.

I am feeling upset with myself - I just can't concentrate on the work. I am supposed to be working from home. In the morning I had acupuncture, so I dot home at about 10.30am, the guys are painting nursery, so I checked my emails, news, etc..... Before I went for acupuncture, I stopped in Lidl to get some gardening bits there, garden track, cold frame, etc. So when the guys left for lunch, I decided to build my cold frame instead of having some lunch as well. I am only having my lunch now, and it is nothing more exciting than fish fingers and salad.

I keep looking out of the window and wishing I was outside, doing some digging or planting! I even went through my seeds from last year and sorted out what I want to grow this year (not much, salads, tomatoes, aubergines, peas and beans).

I am so ready to start my leave, and I am only 25 weeks!!!!!!

I have been in the kitchen today wiping down all the units with the back door open (told ya my nesting seems to have kicked in lol), I kept looking out of the door thinking 'I wish I could go out there to sit in the sun' I am ashamed to admit that we have a much neglected garden :o OH never seems to have time and I am petrified of spiders so don't do gardening (I am also not in the slightest way 'greenfingered'; the last plant I had was a Cactus and I killed that) :rotfl:I am seriously considering looking into getting a gardener for a few hours a week before bumpy arrives :o

    Hi guys,

Dizzi toothache is the worst pain I have ever experienced and you must be so miserable without your sleep, do keep us updated, when I was turned away without anything from my dentist I headed for the dental hospital and they were great, actually you might have luck at your walk in centre too, I wonder could NHS Direct help point you in the right direction?

Someone seriously asked me today if I am pregnant or is married life just suiting me well! What a strange way to ask! I have a clear and large football sized bump and look like Mr Greedy, what do you think!? I feel bad for saying this, its not like I've not enjoyed the rest of my pregnancy but I'm just so enjoying bonding with my bumpy girl at the mo, she's so wriggly and I'm getting so big, it's lovely to get up in the morning and actually look pregnant now, might try and do a bump pic later!

Hugs dizzi and happydays. Hope you are both feeling better soon. Xx

Had my shopping delivered and about 10 items are missing so I've been on the phone to asda and have to wait for them to call me back to see if it is still
In the van with the driver so we can arrange another time today to deliver. I'm so tired I could cry as the heartburn is so painful at night I'm hardly sleeping, Im wondering if it is possible to be tipped over the edge at 37 weeks pregnant by a no show of shopping items because at the moment that's how I feel!!

Well me and DD3 have made a ton of cupcakes, was hoping all the standing in the kitchen would do something to get me started but hey ho! Thought the baby was gonna burst thru my foof when i bent down to get a tray out of the oven tho!!!! Choc cakes with raspberry buttercream and white choc decs, yum yum! Have left a load for the other 2 girls to decorate when they get home from school, and they have strawberry buttercream :)

Sammie I think i`m happier as i just know i`ve only got until next week. Thewhole pregnancy is always spent waiting for the due date, mine has been and gone (for the 4th time!) and then spent 2 days thinking i had 2 more weeks, well now i knowits next thurs i`m fine with that :) just making the most of watching my baby wriggle and move and not having to do school runs as I have such good friends :)

Raven I see ur still here so take it nothing else has happened???

Happy really really hope u feel better soon hun xxx

I keep looking at the kitchen, and it needs a good clearout, I have also ordered a microwave yesterday, so need to sort out cupboard and the mess on the counters, we also decided to get the hand blender now, so I have a few orders coming in the next week, I think. I asked to have next Friday off, but I am not sure what is going to happen, as my boss seems to be either ignoring my emails, or something has happened, as I haven't heard from him since he left on this holiday nearly 2 weeks ago (was supposed to be back at work on Monday, but I have been working at the client's office, so have no idea, besides, he rarely comes to the office).

Our garden is a mess. I went out on Sunday finally as it dried up enough not to sink into the ground (still muddy though!), and did a bit of clearing up. OH helped to trip the apple tree that we had trimmed a lot last year and it has sprouted lots of shoots - didn't want to leave it, as within a couple of years it would look like it did before, so dense and tall you could not see apples inside! I also removed one of the fruit trees we planted last year that had died and planted another one what we ha in the pot in its place, cleared one small bed and half of the bigger one. I love gardening, but not much the English weather! Hope we are going to have a better summer this year than it was over the last two years... (I am up North, so it was soggy!)
