Flutterby - have you got prescribed ferrous sulphate? Did you noticed in the leaflet that it should not be taken with antacids (Rennie, Gaviscon, etc)? It is my problem - I don't have any problems with taking iron, but the heartburn is getting a bit much sometimes. However, I don't dare taking Rennie in case it reduce the iron take up by my body. Ok, in extreme cases, I do take Rennie, but wait for 2 hours after the tablet, or make sure I hae more than 2 hours to go until the next one.

Sammie - sorry you are having a bad day aswell. There must be something in the water.
I just went and did the little bit if shopping I had to before Callum gets home from school. I think he's fed up of living with a crazy woman so going to try and plaster a smile on my face and not cry tonight. Does anybody else have a problem with feeling hot and sweating? I was walking round the shops feeling like I've done the London marathon. Or maybe it's just cos I'm fat. Another thing to blame on my ample frame...lol xx

mmmm gin, i don't know what I have been prescribed yet - saw midwife today and she rang the doctors to ask for both, I pick them up tomorrow so I have no idea yet, but thanks for the heads up.

My heartburn is not that bad, but she said to get some rather than buy it myself. Only have about 3 rennies tablets a week normally when I am in bed.

Hope your heartburn doesn't get any worse.

Happy, i get hot when my blood pressure drops if i`m out, i think its because i panic that im going to have a funny turn, so then get hotter and sweatier! Altho tbf, the weather isnt too bad today so u prob were just hot!
The cupcakes are yum! We wont mention the 1st batch of white choc chips muffins that ended up only fit for the bin..... ( didnt have a muffin tin so stupidly thought i`d just put the case straight onto a baking tray....DUH!!) Guess whats on my list of wants for mothers day now!!! xx

Yeah I get very hot and sweaty and I used to be the coldest person in Lancashire lol. Think it is all the extra weight and increased blood flow.

Thanks, I don't like to ask ever since the last doctor told me to stop taking the Mick out of the system when I asked for some gaviscon when pregnant with ds2 hopefully not too much longer and it will be over!!

Emmylou - cupcakes sound lovely, I might make a lemon drizzle cake at the weekend as the boys love that!!

Happydays - thank you feel like I'm moaning for no reason most of the time as i know I'm lucky to be pregnant etc just want my body back now though instead of feeling trapped inside a 90 year old!!

Well on a good note my missing shopping will be here in a minute and I managed to get a parking permit to park in the school car park for the rest of my pregnancy because of my pelvis!! :j no more walking far for me!! Xxx

When I was at the madwife yesterday my bp was low so maybe it is that. And I panic aswell. I end up rushing to try and make sure I get round the shop without keeling over so maybe that doesn't help. Or maybe I'm just odd!

Well my nana is 98 and tbh I think she is fitter than me at the minute and I'm only 34!!

I get the same when I'm out, feel hot, sweaty etc that's ehy I don't tend to go far now! My midwife took bloodtests and they came back that I had low blood sugar levels. Don't know if that could be the same for you? I was told to carry a sugary drink round with me. Xx

Just remembered I recorded OBEM last night and still not watched it. Was it emotional? Can't be dealing with anything emotional today!!
