Happy and Sammie.....try having a 9 yr old girl!!!!! She thinks she knows it all, can be so so nasty at times and generally does my nut in! I just pray for the later teenage yrs into adult hood, and that she will be all lovely again like she was as a toddler!! I guess I shouldnt complain as she is quite good at school, top of her class etc.....just wish the attitude would do 1!!!!
My DD3 however, cant do enough for u! She loves polishing, helping take the recycling out, hoovering and mopping, taking the dirty washing out, emptying washing machine and tumblers, and cleaning the carlong may it last
Yay for the permit Sammie
And I suffer from panic attacks happy, which doesnt help when the blood pressure is low and i`m out! xxMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,and a handsome lil BOY 03.03.12 :T

Dizzi - I'm glad you have a plan of action. I understand your fear of dentists as my mum is just dreadful and will only go if she is sedated.
Yes I definitely panic when I am out. My greatest fear would be to faint in public and I'm sure that's what gets me agitated and wound up. I used to have anxiety issues so it stems back to them and when I'm feeling particularly vulnerable they often rear there ugly head. I feel much happier when I am out with someone else. I really think I'm going a bit crazy.DS1 born June 2000

Since becoming pregnant again I too have the irrational fear of passing out in public too, I think it's only because with DS I did pass out, at the meat counter in Asda lol All I remember was coming round and being stretchered out through the warehouse bit at the back to an ambulance lol
I try and always eat before I go out as that seems to help a bit0 -
I`ll see u in the room of men in white coats then Happy, coz if ur crazy, then i must be too! I`ve suffered from depression and anxiety since my mum died when i was just 18. Then after DD1 had PND, didnt seek help tho, and it really hit me badly when i had DD3 and i couldnt function. Have been on antidepressants since i had dd3, had to stop them when i fell preg this time so this pregnancy has been tougher than the others as i have that to deal with too! Had loads of panic attacks as a teenager, my mum was in and out of intensive care for yrs before she died and looking back i shoulda prob been offered some sort of help then. never mind, no point dwelling on the past, onwards and upwards, got too much to look forward to to be sliding down that cliff again! xxxMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,

Dizzy, sorry about your phobia.. I am not a fan of dentists either, I didn't have a great experience as a child, my parents didn't take me regularly, so when I was about 14-15, I had horrid teeth. Besides, brushing was not something we were aware as children at home, I am ashamed to admit. I had to have a tooth removed before then as well, and hole wouldn't heal for months, hence more visits. When I finally got to the dentist at tha age, it took lots of appointments to sort all out. And now I haven't been to dentist or two years again, since our practice closed, we were supposed to be transferred to another own, but never heard from them, and we didn't chase up either.
I wa just sitting here feeling my foot to change shape and cramp. It didn't get too bad, so I am happy enough.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
I can relate to all that Emmylou. Mine started when my parents split up and shortly after my mum attempted to take her own life and blame me for it all as i was a daddy's girl and if id have asked him he would have stayed. Sent me loopy for a bit and I definitely wasn't myself for a few years. Thankfully after tablets and counselling things got a lot better but I still have very bad periods when things get on top of me.DS1 born June 2000

Oh thats terrible ur mum making u feel like that Happy! So glad u came thru it all tho xxx My Dr keeps nagging me to go to counselling, but i`m worried i`d literally crack up/have a breakdown if i actually had to sit there and talk about everything
i`m best keeping it bottled up and leaving it. After the 6 months we have had with DH brother dying, now having this baby, and this week MIL has been to the hosp as she found a lump in her boob (did post a few weeks ago as she didnt want me to tell DH, i did of course! good job too as she told him herself 2 days later!) anyway, today she had mamograms/scans and biopsies and it isnt looking good. She has been fast-tracked to breast clinic, the lump isnt just a cyst
the nurse said it hasnt spread to her lymph node glands (is that right?!) which is a good thing. They havent said it def is cancer yet, but just waiting now
xx

I do remember you saying about your MIL. I'm sorry you are going through this as you have had a lot to deal with the past few months. Life really does test you at times.
I have learnt to just deal with the way my mum is. I realise she was hurting and lashing out and I was an easy target because my brothers wouldn't have put up with it. It has definitely taught me that you never really know what other people are going through and I always try to bear that in mind when people wind me up these days. We all have problems and that's what makes us all human. Just my coping mechanism at the minute is shocking.
On a plus note, I have just ate the most delicious fish finger butty. Random but lovely.DS1 born June 2000

Sorry for the delayed reply, was eating and decorating the last of the cakes haha! Eeew....the pure reason i HATE fishfingers, is when my mum first got ill, i was 12 and obviously couldnt cook, and for the whole 6 weeks holidays i lived on fishfinger and ketchup sarnies, they make me heave now!!!!
Really worried about how DH will cope if MIL is really ill. I`m the sort to put defences up and get on with it, he however, breaks down, gets really depressed. I`m sounding nasty as hell here, but i`m so glad he is ill himself and on morphine, as when his bro died, he would literally have been a drunken mess for a long time. He used to drink alot b4 he became ill. and i mean alot. also glad he has had the baby to focus on, so going to have to get him out soon to cheer everyone up!!!!!! xxMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,and a handsome lil BOY 03.03.12 :T
