Laura I agree about it getting scary. It certainly sounds weird that we will have babies next month. Where has the time gone!!!

    Morning ladies.

    Congrats Lucy.

I wonder if Raven had a leap day baby!

Laura, I'm not scared about giving birth (yet!) I'm more woried about how we'll cope with a new baby!

Gilly, thanks for the heads up about the M&P voucher, just checked and I have that email so have registered to get the voucher. How's your little one doing now? has the meds the doc gave him helped the reflux?

Well, you know how I said this current period is the longest I've been without having a medical appointment? Naughty baby obviously decided it didn't like being ignored by the medical professionals and refused to move yesterday morning! I ended up going to the hospital and by the time I got there I hadn't felt anything for atleast 3 hours! Bearing in mind it usually wriggles pretty much constantly all morning that was very scary! They listened for a heartbeat which they found straightaway and then put me on the monitor. It was all ok for a start but then the heartbeat really dropped off, turns out baby had moved and they were picking up my pulse instead but I ended up staying on the monitor for over an hour just to make sure it was mine and not baby's and also to se some good movements. Eventually it woke up properly and gave a good few wriggles and kicks and the hearbeat had been good for a long enough period so they sent me home. Oh and they measured my bump, it was a bit small at 29.5cm (I'm 32 weeks tomorrow) but they weren't too worried as we know baby is on the smaller side.

Oh and the head midwife suggested I should see my GP and get signed off sick until my maternity leave starts due to having a stressful pregnancy and being anxious but I'm not going to as although I have 4 weeks left I only have 13.5 days to work and my job isn't at all difficult or stressful, I'd probably end up more anxious being at home all the time, bored and with too much time on my hands to over analyse everything!

there was a lady in the hospital who had gone in for a sweep, and was actually 6cm dilated without knowing anything about it!!! They were sending her home to get her bag then they were going to break her waters and get things going! I'd LOVE to get those first 6cm out of the way without knowing lol!

Glad everything was ok Lisa. It is really scary when they dont move. Mine is usually quite busy in the morning, then settles in the afternoon and as soon as I get in the car to come home wakes up again (probably like me doesnt like OH's driving very much! :rotfl:)

Dont worry about bump size too much, I havent changed since my 27 week appointment when I was 28cms and I am now just over 32 weeks!! Have my next midwife appointment Monday so will see if it has managed to grow a bit more.

Think baby is still feet down, keep getting a sudden feeling that wee is squirting out of me (it isn't - I have double check lol!) must keep kicking/treading on my bladder naughty little thing.

Emmylou, you must be giving him such a good home in there he doesnt want to leave yet bless him :)

With bump and size it's crap - depends on so much, who's measuring you, how the baby's lying etc etc... at 25 weeks they measured me at 33 cm which was an eye watering difference (although there's a lot of pre-pregnancy spare tyre to factor in there)... 28 weeks and I'm back to 29.5cm!

I'm not at all worried, I'm happy to have a small bump as I know baby is ok just on the smaller end of 'normal'. I've been smallish all the way through which I'm actually very pleased about as I fully expected to be one of those unlucky ladies that really balloons with pregnancy as I normally put weight on so easily. There was a lady in the hospital yesterday who was 2 weeks ahead of me and her bump was huge in comparison!

I look huge - but it's because my pelvis has tipped too far forward apparently (according to the physio it's a much more severe arch in my back than the norm and makes the SPD worse). I've lost actual weight from "me" (as opposed to baby bits) though!

Chaos at the hospital yesterday - as well as nearly keeling over during GTT... the power sockets in ante-natal were down so no blood pressure machines were working and they were having to do everything manually!
