  • I`ve spent soooo much time over the last few weeks bending over on purpose just to try to make this baby be the right way round its not even funny! I also have a 3 yr old, and she is the eldest toddler i`ve had whilst being pregnant lol! I think its really unfair of ur midwife to imply that back to back babies are due to lazy mums :( You should ask her why women have transverse babies then ;) hahah! Is there no way u could agree to trying a vbac, as long as baby is def the right way around? Do u want to be able to give birh naturally or would u be happy to have a csection? Personally i`m more scared of the operation than having a breech baby!!!!!!
Oh, and my cousin had a back to back baby, who did turn just before labour started, but she ended up coming out sideways!!! Luckily cousin had an epidural so didnt feel the forceps!!! xx

  • On the nappies front, we've used about 7 packs of newborn so far. Thats at 3 weeks in.
Little man is nearly 10lb now and still fits fine in the Pampers newborn nappies (in which we have had no leaks yet, compared to lots of leaks with huggies :()

Couple more bargains in Morrisons today. Tommee Tippee Breast Cooling Pads were £1, and the Tommee Tippee Flask/Bottle Warmer thing was £5. By far the cheapest ive seen either of them, and the cooling pads really work :)

    Labour vibes to boldies. x
  • Wow we are quiet this morning! Heres hoping some babies are being born!!!
Have been up since 6am with DD2 as she has a sickness bug, great, just what I need with a newborn due, a house full of sickness. You can be sure tha over the next week or so both DD1 and DD3 (and usually me) will come down with it :( Not sure how i`d cope with a bug in labour :/
Any good plans for the weekend ladies??? I`m dettol duty..... lol xx

    Hi everyone

Went to babies r us last night and got a mattress for the Moses basket and also bought an angel care sensor mat monitor thing!! Never used one before as they weren't around when I had my boys, reviews were good and as dp had a brother who died from cot death he is really into safety.
Oh and no emmylou I didn't get attacked by any spiders whilst shopping!! Saw in the paper that some man was shot in both legs in Southampton last week I think!! I bet you are glad you moved!! :D xx

Thanks ladies xx Um, tbh it depends on what time it all happens as to who looks after them!! But will be either the next door neighbours (the mum and her 2 daughters aged 18 and 20) or the neighbours/friends in the rd that both have kids at school with my girls. I`m hoping it wont be for long lol, DH was back home less than 6 hours after i went to hosp with DD3 :) The older 2 kids should be fine sorting themselves if they r sick (so no one has to clean up i mean!) but DD3 is only 3 so not sure how she`ll be :/ I`m not stupid enough to think they wont all get it either, we`ve never had a bug in this family that hasnt hit us all!! xx
How are u feeling today Lucy??
Hope ur well too Happy xx
