    Morning :)
thanks for the comments on nappies. Through various freebies I've got 97 nappies (combination of newborn and size 2) so think I'll wait until baby is born before buying any - my mum is coming down when I'm due to cover the time my OH is away so she doesn't mind nipping out if I need more.

Next question - can anyone recommend a mattress for a cot bed? My OH and I are completely clueless so trying to gather information. So far it seems sprung mattresses are meant to be better? With a waterproof/breathable cover?

Thanks for all your help, I'm trying to be organised but at the moment my head is all over the place, I'm feeling generally unwell and my OH is bogged down with trying to get his normal day job done while spending his evenings and weekends trying to learn all the information he needs for his exams so that he can pass first time and not have to spend the first 6mths of baby's life revising.
(The exam is 10 hours spread over 2 days and only ~40% of people pass the first time they try :()

Labour vibes to the boldies, and hugs to everyone feeling unwell or who wants them.
  • I only have 4 packs of maternity pads, then a few packs just sani towels. I dont remember using more than that with my other 3. I did bleed for 6 full weeks after DD3 and that was a pain!! xx

I have had the nicest weekend of kicks and wriggles and movements, LO has been getting stronger as the weeks have gone on but now it's more visible to DH and yesterday she kept us entertained all day which is so lovely, I feel all squishy and hormonal! :rotfl:

Just mooching about today I think, work is a nightmare so I'm burying my head in the sand for today and not thinking about a thing! :j

Labour vibes to the boldies, with 9 weeks to go I'm excited already so you guys must be off on another planet excited!
  • Thanks for all your advice ladies. As I had my first baby 11 years ago I seem to have forgotten everything, probably selective!!!, so all your tips come in very handy.
I'm having the most awful pressure in my lady boys today. Not sure what it is but it's mighty uncomfortable.
Enjoy the KFC Lucy, I'm slightly envious!!!

I only had a show with DD2, was ongoing all day with the bloody mucus, and went into labour 6.30pm that night...!!! Fingers crossed Lucy :):) I`m very VERY jealous! Been on knicker watch for at least a week for a show now haha!

Cant believe I`m a boldie 2moro!!! Baby still has time to come to be the odd one out and come early ;) Sick of people telling me boys r always late as they r lazy. I`m not that stupid that I believe it, and also, my girls were all late, so god help me if this boy is later!!
Had backache all last night, kept hoping and wishing, but very obviously nothing happened :(

Have just done my online shop for 2moro, didnt fancy going to Tesco on my EDD :/ Managed to get £15 off too, the code in the daily mail for £5 off is on the code boards, and mysupermarket has a £10 off code for 1st shop :) yay! Lets hops someone is here between 2 and 4 2moro lol!

    xx
