Sounds like you are very organised emmylou so I'm sure you will be fine.
I'm ok today although my boobs seem to be huge. I feel like I need a couple of dwarves to walk infront of me and hold them as they are so sore. I didn't actually think they could get any bigger xxDS1 born June 2000

Started buying stuff for the hospital bag (well since sleeping is normally totally nuddy territory in this house we don't exactly have pyjamas coming out of the ears). It's made harder by me being the largest size of most normal shop ranges - so I can't do the usual "go into primark and buy mahoosively larger than normal packs of their passion-killer pants" thing.
Picked up a long-pyjama top style nightshirt with buttons all the way down that I figure will do for afterwards since it buttons down for boob access, a real el-cheapo nightie to get wrecked that is my normal size at present but I won't exactly care if it gets stretched out of shape (and I'm still wearing normal size non-maternity tops as it is) and a pair of being sold off cheap Xmas pyjamas for £3 that I really don't care if they end up stretched, covered in bodily fluids or whatever... and I know I've got a really thin lightweight dressing gown anyway.
As for pants - again, paper knickers don't quite come in my size - and if I'm pushing the size boundaries I'm not going to trust paper somehow - so just had to go for normal size passion killers and hope they'll be big enough. I refuse to pay somewhere like Evans prices - takes skill for a shop to manufacture jeans so that one leg of a pair shrinks in a wash but they managed it.
Blooming annoying having to work around everything constantly being a plus size. Back to my fantasy of a plus size maternity store that doesn't make women feel like poo, require credit checks to buy from, and actually stocks things like support belts and disposable pants in their sizes... sigh!Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
I know what you mean dizzi. It is really hard trying to find stuff that's practical and cheap enough when you are on the bigger size. I am trying to make do as much as possible cos I refuse to pay ridiculous prices.DS1 born June 2000

I`m soooo glad sometimes that my boobs never grow when i`m preg, and i`m only a B cup anyway
I have to be organised, living 200 miles from all family cant be a problem sometimes, esp with DH being ill and having hosp apps and stays etc, but we manage!
Re paper pants....they are alot stronger than i thought they were going to be! I havent got any this time as i`ve just packed some of my older black pants and have brought new ones for after
What a lovely day! Hoping baby thinks so and decides to make a show.....hmm.... Have just spent an hr cleaning DD3 bedroom, just left the shake and vac down for a bitxx

I barely had pants on during labour and first night after having him as 'someone will want to check your stitches' so thry put me on the bed (white sheets) with a pad between my legs and wheeled me off to the ward! Needed thrm after that though. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

I didnt have any on at all in labour lol, and did after i`d had a bath. I never had an epidural tho, so was expected to be up and walking about as soon as was all over! Had DD3 at 5.54 am, and had to go get my breakfast at 7am lmao, managed to squeeze a bath in in that hour too!! xxMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,

We had breakfast brought to us in the delivery room, then a little bit later they said could I get showered as they wanted us to change rooms. So I nipped in and cleaned up (had to have two goes at standing up though!
) And was just getting dressed when another lady arrived to help me to the shower.
Then we loaded all our stuff onto the shelf under the crib, and walked down the corridor with it all.
