Congratulations, Redhead!!!!!! It all sounds so lovely...
I am just North of Chorley, so that is not that far... Although hate going to Manchester for work....
Oh, Happy birthday, Dinah!!!!:bdaycake:
Don't worry about the scan - it will be fine!
MrsManda - I would like a sonographer like yours!!!! Both NHS ones I had seems to treat me like a piece of meat and had their mouths zipped the whole time. I was nearly in tears with the first one because of how much pain she caused by pressing so hard! Well, I had tears afterwards because she didn't show me much at all, just a couple of minutes at the end!
AFM - I had really painful legs tonight, can't explain it, they felt so week, and when I had to go to the bathroom at night, I was worried they will collapse under me. I couldn't sleep much with the pain, only closer to the morning, so found it very hard to get up, didn't even hear OH's alarm today.
Still no news from the ebay muppet, i sent him a text yesterday as well saying when he has to collect it, to which he replied ok, but didn't show up. I have opened an unpaid item case on ebay, but wondering if I should just request to cancel. He spoilt the item, so we will not achieve the same amount again, but I just want to get him of my head...

Morning everyone,
Congrats Redhead - sounds fab, can I have one of those please?
Hope Stacey is ok!
Happy Birthday Dinah.
Well I had an awful nights sleep last night and felt foul this morning, got a headache last night, but it was a weird one - really localised like just in one place but really severe! Took me ages to get to sleep - it kept waking me up, but once I got to sleep it went and I don't have it this morning.
However at about 2:55am, my stupid Dalmatian decided to wake up and start howling because she needed the toilet - OH didn't wake up, but carried on snoring, so I had to get up (after only just getting to sleep), get dressed and go and let her out, she then preceeded not to go to the toilet but to play with the rabbit and guinea pig in their cages and eat their food. Honestly if you could have seen the crazy pregnant woman argueing with the spotty dog in the freezing dark, I might have been carted off!!
So then I stomped back to bed and did everything in my power to disturb OH as was cross with him for not waking up! lol
Think I might need an early night tonight lol x xMarried the Man of my dreams 30/08/2008Baby No.1 arrived 04/04/2012, gorgeous little girl after 4 years of fertility issues!!:j:T0 -

Well ladies, the scan went well yesterday. baby's head is still tiny but it has followed the curve of the percentile chart so hasn't dropped any further behind. All its measurements are still small and estimated current weight is only 1lb 14ozs which is right at the bottom of the 'normal' scale but that's fine, as long as its all ok I'd quite like a small baby! I have to go back for my next scan at the big hospital in 5 weeks so i'll be 32+4 then!!!I'm hoping he only wants one more after that as I don't fancy going when I'm too close to my due date, I don't want to end up going into labour and having baby 80 miles away from home!
Really pleased to hear your scan went well Lisa, we have our next scan with Fetal Medicine on 27th Feb, cant come soon enough for me!!
Finally had a decent nights sleep last night with hardly any pain, wore the support belt all day yesterday so am guessing it must be thanks to that. If any one wants to give them a go I bought mine from Mothercare, £120 -

Well, I had tears afterwards because she didn't show me much at all, just a couple of minutes at the end!
I've had three scans so far and the sonographers have been great. My first scan was early as they thought I may be having an ectopic pregnancy and the sonographer couldn't have been more reassuring even before having the scan.
I was concerned initially about the care I would receive as my local hospital maternity unit gets a lot of complaints. Also it's a General so with my health problems I was worried they may want to send me further away to one of the specialist hospitals. But so far I've had nothing but good care - I think the number of complaints may reflect the fact the hospital seems to do everything they can to encourage people to comment on their care so that the hospital can improve.
Hope your next sonographer is more helpful *hugs*0 -
glad your scan went well Lisa

im not sure what the best deal is at the mo. i do remember preferring pampers over huggies with my boys to though, i found the huggies tended to leak more but not sure if it was because my boys weed loads!! i have mostly huggies nappies again this time but considering they didnt cost me a penny if they dont agree with baby it wont really matter.
my youngest is 5 so im hoping huggies have improved. xx:)DS1 10yrsDS2 7yrs :)DS3 born March 2012
