Morning all, quick query, is anyone else getting any sharp headache pains? Mine are on the right side of my head and come for a couple of seconds then disappear. Then come and go throughout the day. I had them last weekend and though I'd overdone it a bit but then have had them since Saturday, on and off. Not sure if it's dehydration or lack of sleep or something else?

Also, anyone know when the next Boots baby event might be? I can't remember when it was last on. Pretty sure they had it end of Feb then maybe end of May so hopefully soon? I haven't got any maternity pads, nipple cream, breast pads, nappy sacks etc and wanted a 342 offer!

Hi all

No baby to report yet, however lots of twinges and lower down pains that have been getting stronger since Sunday. No real pattern though so hopefully it's a sign of everything getting ready! I really don't want to go for a sweep on Friday!!

Re: Tiredness mine went at around 14/15 weeks and then came back at about 29 weeks, it got a little better after finishing work. When they say take it easy they really mean it, I remember cleaning the whole house top to bottom felt great about it and then the next two days felt exhausted!:o

Thanks everyone for the kind words feel much better after a good nights sleep.

Rebekah you can have cup a soups that don't have bits in like veg or noodles sO just plain chicken Ones etc, tea, coffee, juice x

I had a few days with headaches like this - figured out it was due to my pillows as I've changed my sleep position and it was giving me a stiff neck, radiated up the side of my head

Don't know about Boots, but mothercare have 342 on lots of bits like that at the moment, I got some breast pads and a couple of packs of maternity pads (early I know, but they're not going to go off;)) at the weekend.

KatyLiz paracetamol is fine during pregnancy, you can take the full dose as normal, and it's better to do this if you have a fever than let your temp go really high. Ibuprofen is not safe though. Have you taken advantage of the free dental care to get your toothache looked at? My DH had terrible pain a few weeks ago and he was really miserable with it he's had a root canal treatment and it's all better now, last part today to get the temporary filling replaced with a permanent one. :j

We're off to visit the nursery at my work today and book our place for next August Nothing like being prepared! :rotfl: There's another baby boom going on in our building, so want to make sure we get a place as the space in the baby room is limited. This year there are 9 babies due that I know of, and that's only in my department! We get this every few years, seems to go in cycles.

Re: tiredness, my energy levels picked up about week 16, maybe later and dipped again around week 27 though that might correspond with my dwindling amounts of sleep.

Glad you enjoyed your antenatal classes Missmonkeymoo, mine start a week Thursday. They were supposed to start last week but they were fully booked on that course.

I ended up in the spare bed at 4 this morning as it was too hot in our room (mostly as DH was hogging the bed!). I slept a lot better in there as I could turn over easier with more room and it wasn't as hot. Managed to sleep until 8.

It's raining here this morning so I think it's a day indoors for me.

Hope everyone is well and I'm looking forward to hearing some baby news from our boldies

Morning all. Wow you all are up so early. J was catching up on posts and then started writing on Word so I wouldn’t forget stuff. J
KatyLiz hope you are ok. It is normal for men not to do much and when they do, not to our standards. L you are allowed only paracetamol. L hope your tooth ache goes way. Are you seeing the dentist? Sometimes clove oil helps too.

Miss monkeymoo, Men are just weird! They go mad and then when they think its ok they come back being all lovey dovey. I so hate that! That is so bad about your neighbours and your cat. I mean I love animals too but I only thing I do is just try and call them to pat them. I wouldn’t feed them otherwise they come back. L its only the birds in our garden I like feeding.
Talking of cleaning. I have given up as i dont have the energy anymore. i managed to clean the bathroom and that was it. DH goes mad once in a while, hoovered weekend gone so how his bit is done till a few weeks after now. the washing up is piling up again. he was supposed to clean the food recylcing bin and he hasnt so food waste is sat on a plate on counter. sigh. i havent touched it. The bedding that we both removed is still by the stairs so i can wash it. i just want to run away when i see how messy the house is! i am finding a cleaner i swear! sorry ranting now.

Just feel tired and yuck. Went out with friends last night and DH was annoying me by being childish and cracking silly jokes. I am very irritable right now and I asked if we could get a cab home from the station, and he made us get the bus. Stingy git. I was just tired as it was late and we had walked around a bit before to find a restaurant etc. grrrr. Been having this pain again on the right and I am not feeling too good. Hope this pain goes. Wonder what it is? Does anyone get it?
