It is tough being alone, it gets lonely, pretty much the only people I am in contact with are you guys on line. As you get bigger it gets harder to muster up the energy to move.

Moofy days are fine and needed.

  • Big hugs Ikkle i hole you can rest today and tomorrow will be a better day. I do miss my work, never thought I'd say that, at least I had a reason to get dressed in the morning. a lot of days I only really chat online now.
Katyliz hopefully hubby will get the hint that he needs to help out more. How old are you kids, any way they could have a little chores to do each day to help? Housework wasn't such a priority before but now I'm stuck indoors looking at it all day feeling useless :(
I may be tempted to have a good look in new look sale tomorrow, need some leggings really and have one pair only. We'll see ;)
Can't remember who else said what now....sorry :(

My friend had her baby boy :j :j Three days of labour ended up in a C-section this afternoon. Baby was 9lb7oz but they knew he was big. Don't know many more details except mum and baby are doing well. So two babies in 24 hours here :)

Had the beginning of a hemiplegic migraine earlier, haven't had one for so long. Hopefully it's fading now. Am just gonna rest tonight. Vision isn't as blurred and got some feeling back in my arm. OH is about to massage my neck and shoulders so not all bad ;) hehe

Night everyone, hope everyone can rest well. Hugs to all that need them xxxx

  • OH Asked me earlier, but now again if there is a male version of this forum? I don't know of any, but remember a while back someone mentioning a good site for daddy's to be. Or I think I did. He also asked of the daddy's were allowed to join the Facebook group lol! Think he knows that you've all been a great support network to me.

Can anyone recommend any sites/forums etc?

Right now my eyes are closing, night night xxx

Teddy has been asleep all day and is now wide awake. This is going to be a looooong night. Only had 3 hours sleep last night the little monkey! OH is back at work today, on nights so It's me and Teddy boy doing the night shift, nervewracking!!
No-one tells you how tired you're going to be all the time....lack of sleep is a nightmare!!

Seeing his little face makes up for it though :-) xxx

Hey kitten. Yeah I try to, grabbed an hour or so today once OH had dragged himself out of bed at 1pm! In between sterilising, washing, expressing, having a shower, making dinner......it got to 7.30pm and I realised I'd only had a bowl of bran flakes all day! Crazy. It's all worth it though, just can be overwhelming sometimes. Can't sleep? X

He'll come home and have to sleep so won't be getting any help there! Which is fair enough being on nights I suppose. What a crap shift they gave him on his first week back!! Well Teddy is wide awake and having his bottle. No sleep for mummy tonight then! Xx

MrsBryan I hope you managed to get some sleep in the end.

I've been awake for ages again, toothache and hayfever still going. Are we allowed paracetamol or ibuprofen in pregnancy? I have a phobia of medicine of any kind, so I never take anything at all. But I feel so wretched today that I need to break that rule.

LMM - congrats to your friend. My eldest is 8, but she is a walking disaster zone and tends to create more havoc than help. She does try very hard to help but her success is limited, and she tends to trip and break things. Both kids are keeping their bedrooms tidy now though which is something at least!

Ikkle - I understand the loneliness, being at home can be dull. Since having to quit uni I've had nothing to do whilst the kids are at school except wait for baby, so it feels like the longest pregnancy in the world. My friends live miles away and I miss having something to do, especially where I can't drive and get out at the moment. But as I keep telling myself it'll all be worth it in the end :)
