Kitten - I really hope you manage to hold up ok, and definitely don't worry about voicing your fears on here, I think you're doing well to cope at all. I'm constantly nervous of things going wrong and my losses were all under 12 weeks, so I know I'm way past that, but I can't help worrying anyway.

disziebubba - I had no idea hospitals didn't always supply milk anymore. With my son they just asked what formula we wanted and handed it to us. They even sent you home with 5 spare little bottles to make sure you were well stocked up. That's typical NHS cutbacks I guess! I'll have to check the situation with my hospital nearer the time.

Gemma - hope you got checked out and everything was ok.

The New Look sale looks tempting, but I already have tonnes of summer maternity clothes. Whilst the weather is poor I'm stuck in two pairs of trousers and one lot of leggings, yet I have 4 dresses and two skirts waiting for the good weather. Hurry up summer so I don't have to spend out on jeans!!

  • Hello everyone!

Nursery is just about finished, we need to put the curtain rail up tonight along with the curtains and then we are done. Last night washed the newborn sized clothes and part dried then in the new tumble dryer. Hubby was having a cardio over how much its going to cost to use so we hung dried them to finish them off. I'll try to take some pics.

Not yet finished the hospital bag - got a meeting with the birthing centre tomorrow along with the one antinatal class which we'd missed.

Just read down the labour vibe list - crumbs! I've had some of the signs so might be the next. Been having braxton hicks nearly on daily basis!!

Re tumble drier i had one in my old flat. They only cost something like 50p an hour to run and that should dry a whole load of newborn stuff so I just used mine once a week on full load! Pittance compared to having to put heat on to dry stuff!

Just spotted this on the grabbit thread:
    http://www.mamasandpapas.com/product...006910/type-s/

3 Mamas & Papas nursing bras, usually £18 each but currently on special offer at 3 for £15 - available in a few sizes still and in black or white.....checkout was a bit glitchy for me so I just called customer service and ordered over the phone

    Thanks to OP.
