Clearly baby has moved. He's kicking much lower down than he ever has...feels very weird. It's like he's arguing with my knicker elastic. Ha ha.
You got a breech one poppet! That's my world daily. Wait til they lower and feet make contact with your cervixx. Hurts like

Thanks Moneypuddle! It's not actually short for anything in particular we just liked the name Teddy :) although he will probably end up as Ted like his dad calls him!

Ikkle, we had barely any newborn bits maybe 5 sleepsuits and 8 vests as we were told baby was going to be big. Plus they just didn't 'look' big enough. Teddy was 8lb 14oz and newborn size is perfect. And he's got really long legs too. 0-3 months are too big. Although they will probably fit him in a couple of weeks!

AMC, hope my birth story didn't scare you and your hubby too much! I was pooing my pants in the lead up to it happening but you just get on with it and muddle through like you said..... And having a supportive partner does help, my OH was amazing throughout but didn't really do anything just knew he was there next to me gote through a lot. You'll be fine! I'm excited for you all!

Well I'm going to jump in the shower while Teddy boy is sleeping,y milk leaked everywhere during the night so I'm covered, OH is covered and my hair Is soaking wet! No-one tells you these things happen! Will have to wash all the bedding and put towels down for a while, oh the joy! Hugs to you all xx
Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference :)

Anyone want my mother in law?

0735: Rattles black sack outside our room
0745: Scrapes things down the nursery wall (Head of our bed is on this thin partition)
0755: Slams garage door repeatly (Garage is under our bedroom kinda built into house)
0815: Rattles the sack again ...
08:25: Enters nursery and moves a clanging ladder - rearranges tools on the wooden floor and bangs around whilst wearing shoes that of course are noisy on said floor ...
0830: Rebekah knows sleep is impossible and gets up ...

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

MrsBryan Congratulation for your little Teddy bear :D. You're bith story was positive but I'm still :eek::eek: I just can't see myself going through labor...I hope my baby will be in breech position and have a c-section. I feel so ashamed for saying that but here I can say everything I feel :(. I haven't told anyone about my fear of birth.

Rebekah big hugs Hun, I'm also dreaming of the perfect nursery before the baby arrives. I dread after he comes we'll be busy To sort it out. You don't sound stuck up at all. But I agree, there's no point getting everything organised in the room then have to empty it whilst carpet is being fitted. How long is MIL staying? Extra stress :(
The witch is here until Tuesday. Today she plans to blitz the house dusting and hoovering and rearranging and throwing stuff ... I partly feel bad as she is the only family member who has offered to help:eek:My mum is as useless as a chocolate teapot and isn't interested in the slightest. Thankfully mother in law lives 4 hours away. But I still feel guilty that a matter of weeks ago I was moaning about having no support network and here she is doing everything ... literally ...

He's moved and is back up top again this morning. I'm not joking, this kid has had a 24 hour party and is showing no signs of stopping. I thought he was meant to be slowing down at this stage!!!

The 7 minute car journey seemed to take forever and the only parking was on the top roof of the multi storey so I had to walk quite a way having contractions! I lost count of the amount of people who wished me luck as I was walking in!
Thank you for making me cry again :rotfl:The past week my hormone levels have sooo changed. I was never this bad. Hope it means i'm not going to go in labour anytime soon!
But fantastic birth story thats just a dream! Massive congrats xx:T

Great birth story Mrs Bryan! Love the name :) Is it short for Theodore?

I'm 26 weeks and 2 days today. Does anyone else find their baby tends to go and sit on one side of your tummy making it stick out at a strange angle. Its every time I bend down, I can feel him shift and it actually makes in painful to stand up straight. He usually does the same after sex too. Its like he's trying to get out - but through my belly button!

Oooooh I have a 4D scan at 28 weeks. Literally cannot wait! x
Hehehe ye little lady still does even now at 37 weeks! She loves my right side and her head sits under my right boob. Makes me look so out of place :rotfl:Yea I know what you mean about the pain - We get stretched more on one side than the other. Wonder if my flubber will be lopsided post birth :rotfl:

Aw she wasn't that big then really, I'm thinking my bubs will be long but I dunno about size wise, I'm chunky his dads skinny but we are both over 6ft. It's good to hear that she fit in newborn though as all my family keep telling me not to buy newborn cos my baby will never fit in them etc and it's quite depressing really, it's like they expect him to come out of me 5ft10 and with size 7 feet or something. I've ignored them anyway and bought a few Asda firstsize bits. Not loads just a couple sleepsuits and a couple of bodysuits.

Babies aren't supposed to be MSE lol, I bet you don't mind though really x

I don't :) But she does now have her own savings account, so she IS a bit MSE after all! :money:

Re. clothes - sounds like a sensible approach; 0-3 would have swamped my LO in the first few days, but newborn didn't last long, so having just a few things to begin with makes sense - you can always send your OH out to buy more once you know how big baby is (alternatively, Mothercare now does free home delivery on all orders :)).
