    Afternoon ladies :)
We went to an NCT nearly new sale this morning, it was absolutely mental, like the Oxford street sales on Boxing Day! Managed to get quite a few bits though: 3 swaddling blankets, 2 pram blankets, 1 cot sheet, 1grobag, 2 car sunshades, a buggy buddy bag holder, and some colourful gender neutral vests and sleepsuits. All for £28! Would have got more clothes if we knew what we're having, there was definite pink/blue divide going on! Definitely recommend it, but if you're a member make sure you get there early to make the most of the early entry!

Aw bless you Twinklie, I know what you mean, I'm excited about christmas and stuff knowing that the baby will be there with us. :)

LittleMoog, sounds like you got some good bargains there hun. I love bargain shopping but I think I just like buying the baby things in general lol.

AMC - i was told at breastfeeding workshop, avoid bottles and dummies till about 6 weeks. if you are expressing at least baby will still get the good stuff, doesnt have to be on your boob for this lol
i would like to get the medula swing as well, its on my list.

LMM - have fun at your scan:)

FLuff - *labour vibes your way*

KatyLiz - Ikea is great, me and OH went a few weeks ago and got loads of storage solutions and a few things for baby room as well. their underbed storgage boxes are great, we fit two under our cot bed.

Little Mog - love NCT sale, i didnt get a lot at our last one as i was early on in my pregnancy and wasnt sure what we needed. our next one is in october so should be a bigger spend then. i think NCT members get in there half an hour before anyone else. i am debating joining as they do coffee mornings as well.

i have had a good day today, went stopping in stamford (a really nice quaint town about 20 mins drive away) and had a lovely tapas meal. then fell asleep for a couple of hours when i got back.

where do the weekends go to?!? at least i have wednesday off work to break the week up.

i joined the boots baby club today as decided to get the free changing bag when buying pampers, lady said it takes about a month for back to come through so baby might be here but never mind. anyway my point is join now because of the delay.

about a month to go till baby arrives! woo hoo!

wondering how you are doing Rebekah?

Pretty fed up tbh. Nothing going right anywhere!Breech thing i've given up worrying about. Need to get bags finalised in next 2 days. Nursery is all painted ready, curtains up, border done. Need to get tie backs up and new sockets on then its sorted. all except the carpet ... Which due to hubbys major procastination was only ordered today with the guarentee of them being dispatched from the warehouse in 10 - 14 days. How I never burst into tears in the carpet shop I shall never know! But nothing we can do I guess. So I may have had my caesarean or given birth by then ... So I have give up all hope of the perfect nursery, the arranging clothes neatly in her little wardrobe and that stuff you look forward to. Instead as I am so paranoid of giving birth early etc I am going to move tv and half my clothes, small cupboard etc to fit in the changing table in the bedroom and also if I can my nursing chair. Will just have to convert our room just incase. And if she doesn't come before carpets I can move stuff in after whilst in the meantime I will know where everything is if I need to put my hand on something. Whilst doing this I need to get everything on the bed and tick off my list. Urgh this whole baby thing just seems to becoming more of a nightmare every day. That said ... just sound like a stuck up cow who wants everything perfect and wants it now. So it's big lesson time for me on not being so stuck up and hormonal. I have far more than some women have with their babies. And add to all that that the mother in law is here taking over the place. She spent the night snoring the house down so I only got 6 hours sleep. Is making too much noise for me to take any form of nap today. And wants everything perfect as well including stuff tidied in the nursery despite no carpet ...

Aida i know how you feel.think our posts came at the same time i was writing mine too. i feel a bit relaxed that 13 week scan went well but already amlooking forward to the 20 week one in August. when is yours? i always keep thinking hope the baby is ok. what are we like hey?

My scan is booked for the second week in August. Soooo long till August . I want to start exercise but otherwise nothing happens here. I try to realx and enjoy this pregnancy but sometimes I find it soooo hard :D.

Mishka, great news that your scan went well :). Why you had a scan at 28 weeks? I thought we only get 2 from NHS.

MissMonkeyMoo I haven't exercised for 6 months now:whistle: and I would like to start swiming and just go to the gym 2 times per week for 30 minutes (I can use the gym for free as my friend owns it :j). I will ask my midwife in 2 weeks time and hopefully she will say it's OK.

    Kitten_Pie Beautiful babies!!!

dizsiebubba :j:j:j Congratulation for your little boy!!!

Thanks little_miss_moneysaver and jediquigley for the advice!

I think I will ring the midwife (the more helpful one) and see what she says. I'm probably worrying unnecessarily – trouble is you don't know when you might give birth!

LittleMoog are you in Aylesbury? Just wondered as there was an NCT sale there today. I am a member but I didn't go today as we have been given so much stuff for free. The only thing we need to get really is a cot when baby is too big for moses basket.

Aida I can highly recommend swimming. I haven't been doing any exercise in pregnancy since I got bigger apart from some pregnancy yoga and swimming, oh and general walking. I figure that's enough!

Finished sorting everything into my new living room storage, and it looks good, but my back has totally seized up now. I don't think I'll be doing anything for the rest of the day.

jediquigley - Stamford is lovely, although I haven't been in a long while. Where was the tapas place, hubby would love that?

Rebekah you don't sound like a stuck up cow! Just understandably frustrated, hormonal and stressed. And it's no wonder with the MIL in the way as well. Fingers crossed for you that the carpets turn up soon.

I'm hoping my back is better for tomorrow as we're taking the kids to Wicksteed Park. I have my clubcard special days out tokens, so will be getting in for 'free' :)
