  • Morning all,
Turtlemoose sorry to hear you've been been so unwell. I hope now that you're both home you can start looking forward and start enjoying you're little one. I guess some midwives have their own ideas and unfortunately in labour we can be quite vulnerable. A lot of fears around labour is being persuaded to do something I may not want. Big hugs hun xxx

BB good luck for today really hope you can avoid induction :-)
Bellola you did all those jobs by half 8? I'll send you my address ;)
Twinklie hope you're feeling better, take it easy this morning. Well done on your pram bargain too.
MrsE sorry to hear about your car :-( oh dear for your silly DH
Rebekah have fun painting, if I could get OH to move all the stuff away from the walls I could get going on ours. What colour have you chosen?

Was awake from 2-5:30ish and dozing until oh went to work at 8. Only just woken up. Still very sore all over, but did get two bump massages from daft cat in the night lol. I videoed her this time and people think I'm mad! (others know I'm mad). I've had strict instructions not to do any housework this morning....oh well. Might just peel the veg for tea. Might get the bus into town and meet oh to have a wander about. Think time for cuppa and see what happens!

Hope everyone has a great Saturday and big labour vibes to the Boldies

  • [/B]Twinkle[/B] I meant to add that also last night I was lying down and my tummy looked like one of those boom boxes. Like he was having a rave and the whole tummy skin was kinda vibrating/wobbling. Just so amazing to watch and always makes me smiled. He's very active these days, obviously a lot more energetic than his mother :o

LMM I wonder if they have a psychic connection and are actually at a group party? Mine is terrifyingly going to take after his dad I fear. He's always had silly amounts of energy, it's frightening.

I must say it is funny but annoying taking in other peoples unwanted pets because they are now pregnant and cant look after them.
I have said right from the start that our little one will benifit from all the pets and nothing will change for us in that respect.

Hope everyone has a good day

We spoke to the vet about our cat because we really don't want to get rid of him and it will be a last resort if we have to. The worry is that we adopted him after his previous owners got rid of him because they had children even though he had been a part of the family for 10 years. We don't know if his behaviour suddenly changed etc so we are just preparing to make things as easy as possible for him.

rjh. Please talk to a midwife urgently about the fluid leaking. It could be your amniotic fluid and if your membranes have ruptured your baby may be at risk of serious infection. Take care x

As pregnancy progresses, I think there's a direct correlation between an increase in baby's activity levels and a decrease in mother's! :)

Haha may they are! Little party animals!!! I'd love to know what they're thinking in there. These emails I get weekly say they're exploring. I'm no expert but I wouldnt have thought there's much to see. My OH isn't the most energetic of people so who knows where bubba gets it from.

Kitten I worry about our cat too. We only got her in January from a rescue centre. They wanted a quiet home - no kids. We'd only just found our we were expecting then so sis question what they thought. They hoped that by September she'd be settled enough. However she's still very scared. Not with me and OH, blimey I can't escape her cuddles! The doorbell spooks her, any loud people she just runs and hides. She is getting a bit better with quieter people and does even come out to say hello now and again. I'm hoping the amount of fuss my bump gets that she'll get used to bubba pretty quick. I think it'll be lovely for bubba to have a pet though. We (me and sister) always wanted a cat or something. I don't understand why some people as soon as they are pregnant get rid of much loved pets, makes me wonder if they were loved at all :(

Oh turtle so sorry to hear you've been having such a rough time. Glad you and Reuben are home and doing well now. It must have been awful for you. The unknown is so hard, you just go with the advice you are given by the professionals and think they know best. Thank you for posting and hope in time you can come back and have a chat with us all when you are feeling better xx
Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference :)

Just found out I won a six week lazy daisy birthing course. Has anyone been on one of these yet? I start July very excited

Turtle. So sorry about your dodgy experience. I do hope u and the little man are recovering xx

Tmi alert - noticed today I'm very wet down there - it's like a milky white but really really watery discharge and doesn't smell. But it's literally running out of me. Any ideas girls. I'm 31 weeks
Yea my cm went creamy and rapped up a gear once I hit 30 weeks. On with those pantie liners! All normal apparently. I tend to have wetter and dryer days. Which is a pain as you can put a liner on it not really be used one day and forget and go out another day and end up with a flood in town
