He's very active these days, obviously a lot more energetic than his mother :o

As pregnancy progresses, I think there's a direct correlation between an increase in baby's activity levels and a decrease in mother's! :)

LMM I wonder if they have a psychic connection and are actually at a group party? Mine is terrifyingly going to take after his dad I fear. He's always had silly amounts of energy, it's frightening.

Haha may they are! Little party animals!!! I'd love to know what they're thinking in there. These emails I get weekly say they're exploring. I'm no expert but I wouldnt have thought there's much to see. My OH isn't the most energetic of people so who knows where bubba gets it from.

Kitten I worry about our cat too. We only got her in January from a rescue centre. They wanted a quiet home - no kids. We'd only just found our we were expecting then so sis question what they thought. They hoped that by September she'd be settled enough. However she's still very scared. Not with me and OH, blimey I can't escape her cuddles! The doorbell spooks her, any loud people she just runs and hides. She is getting a bit better with quieter people and does even come out to say hello now and again. I'm hoping the amount of fuss my bump gets that she'll get used to bubba pretty quick. I think it'll be lovely for bubba to have a pet though. We (me and sister) always wanted a cat or something. I don't understand why some people as soon as they are pregnant get rid of much loved pets, makes me wonder if they were loved at all :(

Oh turtle so sorry to hear you've been having such a rough time. Glad you and Reuben are home and doing well now. It must have been awful for you. The unknown is so hard, you just go with the advice you are given by the professionals and think they know best. Thank you for posting and hope in time you can come back and have a chat with us all when you are feeling better xx

Just found out I won a six week lazy daisy birthing course. Has anyone been on one of these yet? I start July very excited

Turtle. So sorry about your dodgy experience. I do hope u and the little man are recovering xx

Tmi alert - noticed today I'm very wet down there - it's like a milky white but really really watery discharge and doesn't smell. But it's literally running out of me. Any ideas girls. I'm 31 weeks
Yea my cm went creamy and rapped up a gear once I hit 30 weeks. On with those pantie liners! All normal apparently. I tend to have wetter and dryer days. Which is a pain as you can put a liner on it not really be used one day and forget and go out another day and end up with a flood in town

I have a busy day today, as well as working we also run an animal rescue from home and have been cleaning out and sorting them earlier, also have quite a few visitors due today so potentialy lots of re homing today too.I must say it is funny but annoying taking in other peoples unwanted pets because they are now pregnant and cant look after them.
I have said right from the start that our little one will benifit from all the pets and nothing will change for us in that respect.
Wow this is interesting! How and when did you get into that? Bet that costs a lot

Rebekah have fun painting, if I could get OH to move all the stuff away from the walls I could get going on ours. What colour have you chosen?
Ah made him empty the room last weekend! It's all empty now. Little lady has a winnie the pooh theme. So half will be lilac and half lemon with a border across the middle :D

RJH- I had this with DD @ 32 weeks, it was my waters leaking, all was OK just needed steroid injections (ouchy) and lots of extra monitoring. When in hospital getting it checked they had a look down there and made me cough to see if this produced anything- it did. Please ring your delivery suite, I'm sure its nothing as you do increase discharge amounts, but just give them a ring and explain where/ when/ how it happens so they are aware. Not trying to scare you, just wanted to put in my thoughts.

Hope everyone else is good, havent really read back and been mega busy. Only 3 weeks left at work then will be back on more. Nan still very poorly, hospital are getting a care package ready for her to go home as there isn;t anything else they can do for her, i think she will need multiple daily visits, but will be much happier at home so hopefully she may be around to see bubba.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend, how did i get to 34??????

    Afternoon all!

Not much going on today, hope everyone is having a nice busy Saturday! Weather doesnt know what its doing here, sunny one minute grey the next!
OH just got in from work, he's done a 70 hour week this week (eek!) so has gone to bed for a bit until we have go out later!

Was just wondering how much weight you all have put on?
From when I got weighed at my booking appointment at 8 weeks, until I got weighed at midwife the other day (38+3) according to the scales at the midwife I've put on 8kg.....there's 2.2lb to a kg according to google which means
I've put on about 17lb? But when I've weighed myself at home (in stones) I've put on about 2 stone (28lb)!
I'm a bit confused. I don't feel I have put on loads, but thought 2 stone sounded about right. Most of my weight is on my bump, I'm all front, apart bit on my legs and face too!

Would think the midwifes scales are more accurate than my weight watchers digital ones!

Wow! My midwife's never weighed me - but I was 14st before getting pregnant, weighed myself about 2 months ago and I was 16st - haven't done it since as I'm not really that bothered, but I know it's mostly bump.
