Hi all, quick update before I try to get some sleep. Sorry to say that I'm having a totally crap time and mummy cuddles are still a long way off.

Came in this morning, having regular contractions 8 mins apart so decided to monitor me to try and avoid induction. Tried throughout day to get things going, walked miles, still only contracting every 7-8 mins Have just said bye to.DH, many tears as I've never stayed in hospital before and its horrible Trying to be brave but everything's going wrong.. Def no water birth now, waiting for delivery room to become available overnight or first thing tomorrow, will have iv drip and antibiotics. Will have to stay in min 24hrs after baby born too.

Not very happy! Sorry for down post, I know the end result will be worth it but its hard to see that right now

Oh honey, sorry you have to be alone in the hospital, just look forward to your beautiful bundle which won't arrive the way you hoped but will be just as precious.

Big hugs BB, it really is horrible. I went to hospital the night before I had A and opted to get kept in, luckily I was put on a ward with no one else on it and my OH just ignored them when they said he had to leave, I was having contractions every 3 minutes and had to go to the toilet loads, thankfully he did stay as I'd had a pethidine injection and no one came to check on me and I needed someone to get me up and down to the toilet or God knows what sorta damage I would have done.

You're little bundle is on there way xxx

BB - sorry to hear you had to stay on your own. Please try to catch some sleep so the morning comes quicker and your DH can come in. Think about it that tomorrow you will be enjoying mummy cuddles!

Similar thing here. I was 8st 12 pre preg. Lost 4lb so down to 8.8 and I am now 35 weeks and weight 9st 4lb! So of pre preg weight I have only put on about 6lb! ...

I'm okay thanks, getting through it. Made arrangements today with my Mum&Dad to have DD from Monday afternoon, so I can get a good nights sleep before Induction day. Have bought a couple of magazines for me and DH to read while we wait and think I'll pack some more clothes for myself as I think I might be in for 2-3 days at least.

I thought something might have happened tonight as straight after dinner I got really hot and felt like I was going to have the squits, but I cooled down and nothings happened.
