Oh my daughter is killing me. Bright mornings means he getting up early. Was 5.30 this morning and I'm wiped out already. Am in enter accommodation so can't put blackout blind up. Gonna buy a portable one today see if that works!!!

Will be a lazy day here. Full CTD crisis so every joint is a mess :-( also any pressure to the skin is agony, very hard to scratch the stupid itchy bit on my lower leg lol. No baby massage from daft cat today either, she's not happy :-( OH has gone carbooting so dread to think what he'll buy. Hopefully my yummy banana ice lolly oh I feel a bit better already!!

I want to go car booting now but bit worried I'll over spend. Went to a kids sale thing yesterday and ended up with a mini poang chair for dd, some maternity clothes, book for daughter, avent pots and a cot mattress. Don't think it's wise for me to leave house with cash lol.

BB - hope your labour progressed and you're not far from mummy cuddles! And thanks for the tip re ipod and noises. I don't have an ipod but make sure I download an audiobook for my kindle.

Baby is annoying me today. Wasn't moving much yesterday and not moving much today. I was in hospital with reduced movements two weeks ago so don't want to have to go again. Will wait till the evening and hope the LO gets more active.

The good thing though is baby must have moved and no longer is pressing on my sciatic nerve. I was able to walk around Tesco today without a wobble and without having to hold onto my DH's hand. My back is still sore but manageable now and I hope it stays this way.

Thanks for the answers re when to wash baby clothes. My first week off starts tomorrow and I'll make it my task of the week to wash all clothes. And pack hospital bag but have no clue what clothes to take. Couldn't find any dark coloured nighties in my size so will probably just take a few old tops for the labour and tops and leggings instead of PJs for after.

Does anyone at all iron baby clothes? I don't iron mine but thought you have to iron baby's as hot temperature means all germs are definitely killed.

You don't need to iron baby clothes - just wash them at 40degress

Thanks RJH I've got an undifferentiated CTD, ANA+. Feeling less achy now

Silly moo I don't iron my clothes so won't be ironing bubba's. Even if you iron them you'll still put them away into a drawer, then onto baby then onto unsterilised surfaces so germs will be on them. I don't think ironing will make any difference to that.

Somehow my brainwave was to take dd out for a walk. The trail is a mile and a half long with no toilets. Why did I think this was a good idea

I'm looking forward to going out with my DH to my cousins later. I'm really close to her and have somehow managed to get to 28 weeks (well I will be tomorrow) without telling her I'm pregnant. So I'm just going to go round and see what she does...it's very obvious I'm pregnant right now. Ha ha.

I'm also going out for a meal and a stroll with DH's family for fathers day...I'm guessing that means I'll be very unwell tomorrow. But I can do good day/bad day. At least I'm getting good days.

BB - stay strong, it must be really hard, maybe things have picked up for you now and labour is well underway *fingers crossed*

did a couple of washes of baby stuff today, scratch mittens, socks and booties are not easy to dry, they are so small they dont blow and there isnt much sun here today. washing stuff so i can finish packing hospital bags, 34 weeks tomorrow but like to be ready just encase.
