hi everyone, can i join yous - i know its a little late in the day as i am 31w 5days now - we lost our wee girl at 27 weeks last july so have been a little reluctant to look forward to the arrival of this little monster - however its getting a bit close now and i really need to get my finger out and get things organised
we are def team blue this time and all is going great this time. there are just so many choices to make about everything there is to buy - i wish someone would sell a bundle of everything you need to get started
i cant even decide what i need to sort for my hosp bag never mind the days after
hope everyone is having an easy time of it or as easy as the glamerous state of pregnancy allows

29wks today and feeling it. Is this it now, will i feel streched and uncomfortable untill the end? until now its been intermittent but seems constant over last few days.
I had a busy wkend looking after the animals and we have begun to think about getting properly organised as we have only collected things on offer or freebies so far and now need to actually buy a few bits, not much though so still keeping cost down.
I cant believe its only 7wks before i leave work and only 11wks until EDD  I thought things were going slow but now it seems not.Rachel

SallyCinnamon - congratulations!
i luv freebies - welcome! Sorry about your loss last year - this time you're bound to get there!
My first day off today today :j 2 wks holidays and then maternity leave kicks in in July. Had lots of plans but only managed to make dinner and put one wash on. I've no idea where the rest of the day's gone. Hope tomorrow will be more productive as I want to do everything needing done this week in case my LO comes early.
Have a nice day everyone and labour vibes to those who want them!0 -
Hi i luv freebies
I have only just finished my hospital bag and I have less than 3 weeks to go...oops
Have you got much sorted? We got the big stuff first, think thats because we were in the right place at the right time and ebay is always fantastic!
Ferrety I felt like that!! When your little one drops down a little you will feel so much better, though it then becomes more difficult to reach the floor. I think that was about 33/34 weeks, when I first read about that I expected it to suddenly go down and instantly feel relieved
silly me! I noticed that I could eat more, my reflux had subsided and my tummy right under my boobs was flatter - if all that makes sense!
I have an exam on Wednesday which has been my main focus/distraction from reality (sounds daft in the grand scheme of things I know!) I just can't believe how quickly it has come around and how I'm going to feel once it's over - next stop baby! :eek:0 -
 Welcome i luv freebies, I remember you from the TTC thread. Would you like adding to the list?

I've decided to go to Wales with my DH while he's working (he works in Wales and I live and work in the north west). My folks have agreed to come round to mine and check for my appointment letter from the hospital. Fingers crossed it takes it's time now. Ha ha.
I feel rotten but if I get to live with my DH somewhere pretty, I'm fine about being off (even if he won't be about much - it's better than not at all).
Plus there is no internet there so I can't work and HAVE to relax. Something I'm not brilliant at.

Afternoon all!
Congratulations sallycinnamon on the birth of Josie!
Welcome i luv freebies - another one who remembers you from the ttc thread.
I was settled at the computer this morning, thinking I wasn't going to get a call for work, and then got a call for a full day. Had a lovely day even though it was a bit of a rush to get there in time. Just got home, showered, and managed to put a load of washing on - hopefully the sun won't disappear before I have a chance to hang it on the line. Working all day tomorrow and Wednesday and babysitting from 5.30-10pm on Wednesday after school, so it'll be a long day. Haven't got anything booked in for Thursday and Friday yet, but it could turn out to be a very busy week if I get anything.
Bean is obviously moving higher up (or his legs are anyway) as I keep feeling kicks in the ribs now, and have been getting the feeling that his feet are wedged in between them every now and again as it's quite uncomfortable. We were at my parents' house yesterday as we got my Dad chinese takeaway for Father's Day and my Mum was trying to feel Bean move - however, he was being stubborn, and refusing to kick on demand lol. It's a shame, as she was so excited last time she felt him.
Well I'm off to go and get some water and check on the washing. I'm hoping that the fact that we've not heard from BB for a little while means that she's having mummy cuddles now, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all went well.
Hugs for all who need or want them, and labour vibes where appropriate.

Hi everyone! I'm pleased to let you know that our baby, a little boy called William, arrived at 2.54 am today
8lbs3oz. He's gorgeous.
Unfortunately had an emergency section followed by drama as I developed post delivery pre-eclampsia (never heard of it before!) Overall very traumatic and exhausting, not really up to posting birth story just yet but will at some point.
Thanks for all the good wishes
BB x
