Hi mummies and bumps I hope you are all doing ok and are not suffering too much with pregnancies niggles!! I'm Karen and I'm one of the admins on the Newborn group we have on Facebook. Due to the group getting too big, we have decided to close it and not have any more ladies join. It has been a fantastic way of sharing the journey from pregnancy to newborn and beyond with a fantastic group of ladies. I would suggest that maybe you mummies to be create your own group on Facebook so that you can share the journey you are all about to take. If anyone wants guidance of how to set up a private group, please PM me. I'm sorry we couldn't get to know you ladies but I wish you the very best of luck and I hope you understand why we had to close the group xxx
Thank you to everyone for sharing competitions!

Congratulations BB. So sorry to hear it was a bit traumatic but I'm sure it was all worth it.

Hi to I luv freebies and to anyone else new to the thread that I've missed.

Nothing much to say here apart from my pram arrived today so I'm going to try and get it all set up now so I can have a play. It was supposed to be coming yesterday and I've booked the day off work but I got home today to find it had already been delivered and left with a neighbour. So I don't really need to take tomorrow off but seeing as it's booked I'm going to have the day anyway as I have a few jobs in the house I could do with getting on top of.

Hope everyone else is doing okay today.

Aaaah moneypuddle, hugs to you chick. I know how you feel; we spruced up our bathroom back in January and it still needs a bit of grouting and painting doing; this weekend my OH mostly played on the Xbox rather than spending the 2 - 3 hours it would have taken to finish it off! I would do it myself, but he wants to do it himself cos he's a perfectionist! As for your worries, try not to let things get you down - it's hard, I know, but just focus on how amazing you are to be producing and carrying this baby and how this gives you and your OH a special bond that no-one else will have. Try to be positive, as worrying will only bring you down and stress you out and we have enough hormones to deal with already! x

Thanks MissMonkeyMoo - I wish I'd been born as someone who didn't stress, because having been like this for 26 years its hard to change now :(. I keep waking up about 5am after dreaming I've not completed my uni work and have desperately tight deadlines - I finished uni 6 years ago!!!

    Enjoy your day off!

We got the Silver Cross 3D and my god did we struggle to work out which bit went where!! Its in storage at my mum and dads at the moment, and will be staying there untouched until maybe a week before due date when I'm going to get it back out of the box and try to work it out all over again

Aw this would be nice, as I can get facebook on my phone, but not this site so easily. I'm not sure how to set up groups etc but would love to join if someone does this :)

Hi again everyone, wondering whether anyone can set my mind at rest this evening? I'm seeing my midwife on Wednesday and am sure there's no need to trouble her before then, just looking for reassurance really!

I'm nearly seventeen weeks right now, and have not put on a single pound in weight yet - does this seem normal to you lot? I've never been one to weigh myself but when I found out at six weeks I was expecting, I went out and bought a set of scales and weighed eight stone six that day. Haven't bothered since, and expected I would have gained a bit cos my trousers are tighter, but weighed today and am still exactly the same weight! Can't help wondering is this ok? Twelve week scan was fine, haven't seen any medical types since, feeling well and my tummy feels a little bit..harder...every day so I am hoping all is well. Any thoughts?

rjh - good luck with the discharge thing. Please let us know what it was.

I'm now officially under 20 on the list  Is it time to start getting worried?
