I'm
At Uni for another 6 weeks. Quite lucky tho that we have some half days (not a lot) but I was planning on doing some extra placements to look good on my cv. Glutton for punishment. I find at the minute when I have energy I just go mad but when I crash I majorly crash!!love you lots like jelly tots0 -
I felt better yesterday, went to the hospital and to mothercare. This morning I've had nothing but palpitations and they make me dizzy. I'm hoping the constultant yesterday was right and that the cardio people give me some pills just to stop me feeling it so that normal life can resume again. It's bloody horrible.
On a lighter note, baby is clearly unaffected because he appears to be having a rave in my belly which is totally stopping me doing what I should be doing because I can't stop laughing at him.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Hi everyone ,sorry i haven't been back. I haven't read back either - Reuben and I have had a tough time with 10 days in hospital, super strength antiobiotics, suspected meningitis, he's been under a pediatrician from intensive care....the whole thing has been horrific.
We are now home and well, and I've had a little time to come to terms with what happened in my labour (which for me is where it all started going wrong). Feelings are really raw at the mo so don't think I'll be returning to this thread as it just reminds me of the build up and that's too hard at the moment.
What I came back for was to stress to all of you, when you are in labour, please remember YOU are in control. Its YOUR body and YOUR choice. I bitterly regret having a mobile epidural, my midwife did not explain the potential risks for baby. She also told me to lay down for several hours after it, and I just did as I was told - really i wanted to be on my feet but i trusted her judgement.
I feel my midwife's behaviour and her keenness on the mobile epidural, and then telling me what to do were all instrumental in me needing an emergency c section. I feel that had I stayed on entonox and on my feet (or birthing stool or whatever) then i would have had Reuben naturally by around 6am rather than having the epidural at 3am then lying down, not dilating any further from that point onwards, and having the emergency section at 9:30am.
When they were putting the epidural in I changed my mind but I felt like I couldn't say no - I'm devastated i didn't have the courage to tell them I didn't want it.
Please please please listen to your bodies, look to your birth partner for guidance, and above all trust your own instincts. I wish I had had the confidence to do the above, and i just hope this helps someone else to have the birth they want xx0 -
turtlemoose on the off chance you read this. Thank you so much for posting that. And I hope you and baby recover quickly. Please don't put all this on yourself. They are meant to guide you, you can not be excpected to think everything through when in labour, or predict the outcomes of your decisons especially when you haven't been fully informed. xReduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Just found out I won a six week lazy daisy birthing course. Has anyone been on one of these yet? I start July very excited
Turtle. So sorry about your dodgy experience. I do hope u and the little man are recovering xx
Tmi alert - noticed today I'm very wet down there - it's like a milky white but really really watery discharge and doesn't smell. But it's literally running out of me. Any ideas girls. I'm 31 weekslove you lots like jelly tots0 -
I've been like that since I got my BFP pretty much and I'm 28 wks on monday. As long as it doesn't smell and is milky white it's your natrual lady juices. If you noitce a smell or get any other symptoms it might be worth getting it checked. I'd just say it's your bits cleaning themselves though. :rotfl:Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Morning all,
Best wishes for today BB, hope things are already going well for you as you will have been in a while now.
sending best wishes to all boldies who havnt yet gone into labour
Turtlemoose, thanks for your post. I am new on this thread but glad to hear you and your little one are home and well now
I have a busy day today, as well as working we also run an animal rescue from home and have been cleaning out and sorting them earlier, also have quite a few visitors due today so potentialy lots of re homing today too.
I must say it is funny but annoying taking in other peoples unwanted pets because they are now pregnant and cant look after them.
I have said right from the start that our little one will benifit from all the pets and nothing will change for us in that respect.
Hope everyone has a good dayRachel
