Now I just need to fast forward to my husband waking up. He didn't go to bed last night so he could finish his work in the lab and make the early train to get back home today for the appointment. I've not seen him for 2 weeks and want nothing more than a big cuddle. However, he looks so peaceful I've not the heart to wake him. He's so pretty.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.84 December 25

Morning all!
How was last night BB?
Labour vibes to all who want them!
Well I had such a pants day yesterday. As I was driving to work my car made a loud bang. I got to work and one of the guys came out and looked at it. He noticed that it was very low down on one side.
I had just got a text from DH saying he was turning his phone off cos of low battery - Grrr! So I was unable to call for advice.
I took the car to the garage near my work. They have quoted me £613.99 to fix the problem!!!!
I had to leave the car with them over the weekend as I couldn't get hold of DH to discuss what to do. Resale value of my car is only £850 and I we have been saving for a newer/bigger one anyway.
I finally got through to DH (at 4.30pm!) and he said we need to go and look for a car on Sunday. We will just have to use the little savings we have and put the rest on the empty credit card (which we have worked so hard at clearing!!)
I had to ring my weekend boss and tell her I cant get into work on Sunday. So I am working for her this morning but at least I have Sunday off.
I also told her that I can't do anymore weekends as I'm just shattered. It's a shame cos I really need the money right now for the car but my little baby is far more important....
I gave DH a b o l locking about his phone though! Imagine if I had gone into labour in the morning? He might have missed the whole birth! What a plonker! Still love him though! He's so cute!
Hope today's better!
Hugs to you all x0 -

Hey Jedi! - I'm working til 36+5 at my regular 9-5 job. We have got a replacement yet and I'm getting a bit panicky about that! 1st interviews are on tuesday so fingers crossed that the right person for the job shows up!
I also have my first antenatal class that evening and I'm starting to worry that it will be too late. We have a 2 hr class that night, then all day Saturday and Sunday. Then another 2 hr class the wednesday. My mate recently went into labour at 36+6!
What if that happens to me? I won't know what to do!
I've been reading a lot about labour and watching birth programmes. Swotting up just in case! Lol!0 -
Hi all, just checking in.
Nothing much to report, still
Have been contracting all night, but irregularly, and they're still quite strong but not painful really. Just phoned anti-natal ward as per my instructions from yest, and I'm going in for induction at 10.30am. Hoping contractions will regularise before then though, as they've now told me I can't have a water birth otherwise
Just having breakfast, then going for a walk
BB x
