Hi Ladies,
Well after my flight to Glasgow, I can definitely recommend NOT getting on a flight when you are 27 weeks pregnant! I am absolutely shattered, although that may also have something to do with being awake from 3am! The flight itself wasn't too bad, but baby kicked loads so either he loved it or hated it, I'm not quite sure which! But it was the descent that made me feel really ill and I thought I may actually throw up at one point but thankfully we landed and my lunch was still inside me. Felt better once I was out of the plane, but not looking forward to the return visit tomorrow.
Added to that, feeling a bit stressed about my meeting tomoorow as it's quite important but I have NO support back at the office because my boss has taken the day off and the only other two people that know anything about the project are on leave as well! Project starts on Monday and client has sent some emails whilst I was on flight asking for info and stating works may not be able to go ahead with it all! Today has made me realise that maybe it would not be a bad thing if I didn;t go back to this job after baby is born! OH wants me to stop at home in any case and I hadn't really decided either way (was just going to see how things went) but now I am thinking that maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing to let go!
Ladylegs - I hope your cervix opens up soon!
Sexymouse - hope the pain in your back eases up.
I'm sure there were other things that I wanted to say, but my brain has gone to mush so I am going to get an early night! Sweet dreams all! x0 -
Good luck tomorrow Miss Monkey Moo. Hope the meeting isn't too intense.
Fingers crossed the flight home will be better.

Thanks for all of the wishes for my back. Initially when I first started getting the pain, I thought it was because my bras had got too tight (ones that were just non-wired t-shirt bras fitted by M&S). I went to Mothercare then and got some proper maternity bras fitted. However, they've now got a bit small around the band (still fit in the cup), so I got a bra extender, as I was fed up with buying bras! That helped a lot, so I think now, it's just a case of the shape of my back changing due to the weight of bump on the front, and my posture changing. I've certainly noticed that my balance isn't so good now (eg. when crouching down to the cereals cupboard, I nearly toppled over backwards, and had to hang onto the worktop - think I'll get my box out and leave it on the worktop now). It seems to be worse on days where I've had to bend a lot - eg today I was working with infants, so small tables and chairs and bending down to hear the quiet ones when they speak. Will speak to the midwife at my next appointment on 29th June, and see what she says if it's still bad.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

MMM, you don't happen to be a civil engineer or similar, do you? Just that certain things you've said about your job sound quite similar to mine!
Sorry the flight was rubbish, hopefully homebound flight will be better. Hope you sleep well.

Thanks for your messages of support on the work front. I had a nap and feel much better about it. At the time it really upset me though. Madness how one little thing can change the course of your day.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Evening all,
Just back from the funeral of my friend. She wanted us to celebrate her life rather than a morbid service, and it was just beautiful. So many lovely stories and even just amongst "our group" we shared so many memories of good times. A lot of tears too though. Left at 11 this morning and just back in the last hour so am shattered.
Have read back through but very quickly
WW2B much love to you and Mrs WW2B would hope by Sunday the baby would most definitely be here!
SM that's carp about the slapped cheek, good you know you're immune. Pity you can't give a daft mother a slapped cheek as a punishment. Are those little travel bottles any good for taking a dose or two of gavisco with you?
Fathers day I've got OH a father to be card, will get a box of choccy for him or something little. He got me a card for mothers day and flowers.
Twinklie I'm not sure of your work were just being concerned or just being work-like. Just keep them informed and give them the sick note. I guess it depends a bit on the relAtionship with your boss. My sick note at first just said complications of pregnancy as the reason.
Emsbet hope you enjoyed your massage
Lady legs sending *cervix opening* vibes to you
MMM hugs for your tiring day, hope you can rest well tonight
Fluffnutter will have to check out that site, your pics are adorable. Although I hope they're not born with stubble lol
Bouncy ball I'm sure my physio said it stoo early to be bouncing was about 23-24 weeks then but to do the rocking from side to side etc.
Dizzi please can you get on and start your hopping ball business in time for my birth. The secondary use as a hubby basher is the selling point
Punkpink hope you're feeling better and the vomiting stopped. I'm 27 weeks and occasionally still vomit a few times then it settles. Used to be triggered a lot by teeth brushing but sometimes just spontaneous. Just used to either sleep, or not eat/drink for an hour to allow tummy to settle. Like others have said if it continues get yourself checked out.
Silly moo enjoy your last day at work
Sorry of I've forgotten anyone, has taken me ages to write this long post. BIG labour vibes to all the boldies
