Well ladies thank you for all the advice re my swollen tingly hands. Went to docs and she said it's most likely carpal tunnel syndrome but ran a few checks anyhow, blood results due back in a few days. Think she was checking for something to do with my thyroid.

Got my anti-d injection tomorrow morning. Has anyone else had 1? I'm planning on coming to work after as the midwife didn't say there were any side affects??? Also, scan next week to check my placenta has moved up as at my 20 wk scan it showed I had placenta previa and midwife appointment a few days later. Busy week ahead. I'm glad though as it seems the more I have to do the quicker the time goes by. 9 weeks tomorrow and counting! All this talk about sweeps - I didn't realise they were so common.

Umm can't remember who asked about the Nappies leaking on 18 month old but my little one had same problem. We switched from pampers active to pampers baby dry and just made sure it wasn't too tight round waist. This seemed to work.

Baby has been going mad today. He was head down but the way the kicks are it feels like he's Gone sidewards across my belly. Also think I may have had my first Braxton hicks today. I'm not sure cos I had none last time but think its one. Very exciting.

I usually get days like this once or twice a week. With then a couple of days of much reduced movement. Which always makes me wonder if everything is ok but I know it is. As it's been her routine since early on. If she had next to no movement at all on those days I would get worried but she is ok just tierd out :rotfl:

I will be turning down the offer of sweeps I think! At least until i'm well over a week late. When do they first offer?

Depends on the area you are in, but I have one booked in for the day after my due date...:eek:

I heard back from the hospital. 7 delivery suites with a birthing pool (just the one of them has that, not all 7 :rotfl:). She told me other stuff (which I can't remember) and said I could email/ring her directly to find out more information/arrange a tour of the ward.

I feel much better about it now. Also, had physio this morning which has HURT me. Gentle stretching my eye!!! OMG I can hardly move...baby seems to think its fab though and keeps kicking my muscle right where I'm sore! :eek:

Still waiting on appointment from the hospital and looking forward to my deliveries tomorrow - car seat and Ewan!

Oh and the hospital and local area are MASSIVELY into breast feeding so provide loads of help. Phew!

Trying very hard not to cry at this moment in time, OH is not happy at all that I am going to this meeting and I am sat at my desk and now can't concentrate on anything. Very miserable.....

Since finding out that we are having a girl OH has spent all his time reading up on sexism and gender issues etc.

Reading studies that girls genetically like pink and boys blue due to when girls were gatherers and needed to look for berries and boys were hunters and used the blue skies etc.

This all seems completely fictitious especially when you take into account that up until 1927 blue was for girls and pink was for boys. :rotfl::rotfl:
