MissMonkeyMoo So glad I'm not the only one!! We were unplanned - a happily unplanned but still took a good few months for that to sink in!
I can't wait to be a Mummy but it's going from bump to Mum that scares me slightly! Reading some of the birth stories here has helped a lot though.

That is a very good date Twinklie do you have any plans for your birthday with a bump? I was 25 weeks on my birthday, a sleepy and quiet affair!

I think it's freaky that this bump actually holds a real person. I can't get my head round it at all. Luckily family and friends have said that you get used to the new baby so quickly that within days, or even hours, it feels like he or she's always been there....

I hope so. I don't want to be waking up every morning for months thinking 'Yikes! !!!!!!'s that??' :D

I just know I'm going to feel like this - I haven't been around babies since my younger sister (now 16) was a tot , I vaguely remember some parts as theres a 9 year age gap between us.

I'll be 30+4 on my birthday and it's sports day at school (BOO) so I'll do that during the day. Then I get to come home and do some exam marking. Hmmm...perhaps not such a brill birthday this year elj.

Still today I have accomplished, eating, showering, dressing, doctors trip 1, arranging vets for later, and soon to be doctors trip 2 followed by the vets. Oh and hanging out my washing...that is all. Doh!

I am also unnerved by what you "do with it". And my job being advertised earlier REALLY freaked me out. OMG...maternity leave means I'm having a baby!!!

I wonder how everything else fits in there too!! To be honest I can't remember what it's like not to have a large belly/touch my toes/tie shoe laces...etc, so I'm sure it will quickly sink in..:D

My 29th birthday is July 1st and I'll be 28 weeks exactly on that day. A lot of my birthday celebrations and presents are going to be postponed until Bean is born. I've requested vouchers for beauty treatments from my Mum (along with a babysitting promise if Moon is at work), and I've asked Moon for time promise vouchers that are free or minimal cost (eg. I promise to do 3 night feeds this week, I promise to give you a massage, I promise to buy you a bunch of flowers when you're least expecting it etc.) for my actual birthday, and a shopping trip once I've lost the baby weight in case I don't fit into my pre-pregnancy clothes any more.

Moon has just called me to say he's on his way home as his work and half my village are flooded and his work are worried about how people are going to get home. I hope I can get to my booking tomorrow afternoon as the dual carriageway was partially closed today. Have warned my agency just in case though, as there's been no let-up in the rain at all today.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/2017

Ahh, next year will be better! Wow you have done far more than me! I finished work at 9am (my last 24hour shift ever and last shift till April - woo! Though I do love my job so I will miss it a little) watched trashy tv, slept a little and pretended to revise... must get the house looking orderly for the health visitor tomorrow! *sigh*

Congrats Monks! I hope I don't go 9 days late to counter balance you as we were meant to be the same day!
