I heard it a while back - it set me right off sobbing then (most baby-loss stuff does still - it's one of the few things that make me cry... anything with prematurity or shots of babies in NNICU is the other one but that's more a flashback thing than anything else)... kind of quite cross it's out as a single to be honest as its NOT one I'd like cropping up on me unawares on telly or the radio in the car.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -

It's not the most well-known of songs but a band called Athlete did a song called Wires about the lead singer's premature baby and how he felt visiting her in the special care baby unit. I only have to think about it to start welling up. In fact, I'm off again now

Just heard Ed sheeran doing new single on the voice. Had me in tears. You have been warned. It's called small bump xxx
I listened to this song a lot when we lost Alex, I have it on my phone too but I can't listen to it now so I've been trying to avoid it, I'll switch it off it comes on the radio or my phone.

It's a really really tough song and I can imagine it strikes a chord with a lot of people. I know he wants to support his friend but I can't understand why he has released it as a singlelove you lots like jelly tots

Wow, as always so much to catch up on since I was last on here!
Turtlemoose yay, keeping my fingers crossed for you! And sending labour vibes to you too nora!
C antremember who asked about tommy tipee breast pump but I saw this one and thought of getting it too. Really want to get everything sorted now but holding off cos we dont have anywhere to put anything at moand I know family are looking to buy us some stuff. At least oh has finally agreed that we should sit down today and decide what we are doing with the house so hopefully we can get moving over the next few weeks!
Oh and I fell out big time fri night, he goes into a mood at the drop of a hat which usually doesnt bother me really, I just ignore him and he soon snaps out of it! But all week he's been moody and kept telling me I was the one in a mood and sulking! It was so ridiculous but then he started making sarky comments so I took myself off in the car and went and parked round the corner and bawled my eyes out for twenty minutes! He started on me again whenI got back and I actually ended up screaming at him which is not like me at all! Went and cried on the bed after that. He left me alone for a but but then did try to make up, but I was still too upset and angry. Made up now so that's the main thing but it was all just so silly in the first place!
Wide awake this am, my cat Monkey is cuddled up to me, she still sleeps with me every night! sexymouse you may want to get your cats eye checked out, monkey had a couple of dark patches in her eye it is usually a sign of melanosis (freckling) which is harmless. This can turn to melanoma though which would then be cancerous and obviously need treating. Monkey's whole eye is freckled now, so she has one green eye and one brown one. I just tell people she has funky eye syndrome! She's been that way for about six years now - it doesn't cause her any probs.
Right, I'm off to make fruit salad for brekkie (trying to make amends for alk the rubbish and junk I have been eating, have felt the need to comfort eat
lately). Hugs to all and have a great day!0 -
