    Hi,
Can I join please??? Only about 8 weeks, but never to early to join the fun hey??!! lol
could someone add me to the list please-edd 10th Jan.
Only seems 2 minutes ago I was here last time lol my youngest is almost 13 months-I have 3 boys and baby number 4 has decided to take us by surprise!!! xx

Welcome, I've added you to the list above.

I think I may have overdone it today with my walking and swimming, my lower right side has been painful all afternoon, mostly when I get up from sitting or lying down. It's all under the right side of my bump and also a bit round to my back. Lesson I've learnt today.... exercise is bad! ;)

    xx

So had my 38 wk appt today. Baby is 1/5 engaged and midwife thniks he'll be between 9-10lbs.

My sister in law had her babs yesterday - 10lb 6.5oz! Argh!

So my nephew is here and we're just waiting for his palymate, our little boy to arrive.

Re names.. we had a name we loved.. but its far too similar to what my sis in law chose. She chose Hal. We liked Zal. So back to the drawing board..

I saw your piccies of baby Hal, he's super cute but ouch it looked like it hurt to push him out ;)

Congrats to your sister in law and brother! I'm looking at my little girl now who weighs 9lb exactly and my eyes are watering at the thought of pushing a 10lb 6.5oz baby out!! :rotfl:

Good luck to all ladies due now and in the next few weeks. Rest while you still can!!

    Baby clubs -

Boots Parenting club - send you some vouchers to use. They do sometimes vary between batches. Mine included get a voucher for a free changing bag when you buy Pampers nappies (everyone gets this one), a free Avent mums essential toiletries set wys £xx amount on Avent products, a free pack of Avent teats/breast shields wys £xx on Avent products, 50p off Boots own brand heartburn relief, 100 points wyb Herbal Essences shampoo, extra points when you buy Pampers nappies and a few others. You also get 10 points per £1 on baby items instead of 4.

The trick is to wait till they have a big 342 on across the baby stuff. Then you can combine the vouchers and items. For example I got the changing bag, a large pack of Pampers nappies, an Avent bottle, 2 Avent teats, the Avent mum's essentials and a body suit from the Mini Mode range. It cost me around the £5 mark for everything.

Asda - Sign up to their baby club and you print a coupon off, sign your OH up and you can get an extra coupon. The voucher is for a Huggies starter set. These contain one pack of Huggies newborn nappies, one pack of Huggies wipes and one hat. They also have moc's inside. £2 off Huggies nappies, £1 off Huggies wipes x 2, £1 off Huggies swimmers. (These can be used in other stores and are good for saving for deals such as Sainsbury's who are currently doing B1G2F so you can get 3 packs of wipes, use one of the £1 off vouchers and pay just over £1 for 3 packs)

Sainsburys - Also do a parent club where you get a voucher printed out at the till which gives you a free box wyb a pack of Huggies newborn nappies. This has a pack of Huggies wipes, a travel changing mat and mini samples of products like fabric conditioner, shower gel, tissues etc.

It's also worth signing up to the Huggies club online as they regularly do vouchers you can print off giving you packs of nappies for free or £2 off moc's. These can be combined with the vouchers from the Asda huggies starter box. Think my record is 198 nappies and the Sainsbury's set for 48p lol.

Babies R Us do a baby club where they give you vouchers to use against their products and you can also get a gold card which is a bit like a boots card you earn points per £ spent.

Mothercare do a baby club too and whilst I've not received anything from them I know some people have had invites to open night type things where they got a goody bag with hats etc in.

If you get the Emma's Diary there are coupons to collect from Argos - not brilliant tbh they contain some dried fruit flakes, samples of stretch mark cream, dove shampoo and breast pads. DONT PUT YOUR PHONE NUMBER DOWN AS YOU WILL GET TELESALES CALLS

Bounty packs are free from doctors/midwives too they have a voucher for £2 off pampers and a free pampers nappy and 6 wipes, breast pads sample and a few other samples.

Think thats it for now if I do think of anything else I will come update lol :)

Ouchies at 10lber's I'm hoping for a 7lber lol. My friend had a scan at 32 weeks and they told her baby was weighing approx 5lb 4oz. Mums friend has had a little boy and called him Harry Bubba, apparently she craved haribo throughout pregnancy lol x

Well I went in to hospital half-dreading being induced, and BP was fine so got sent home....now I'm disappointed I've got to carry on waiting!!! :)

Welcome to lots of newbies in the last couple of days, must be something in the water!

Sainsburys baby club....the free pack's technically worth £10 but I don't think it really is worth that. I didn't actually get my till spit so rang customer services who offered me £10 worth of nectar points - which I thought was much better - so you could always try ringing customer services and if you can get the points just bin your voucher, that way you can spend the nectar points on their deals or whatever else you want in store.

I had one too from someone saying they are from Emma's Diary - they were trying to sell me Disney books - I told them it would be about 6 years or so before the baby would appreciate those! lol I've just removed my phone number from my profile, so hopefully this'll prevent future calls as long as they've not given it out to too many people already.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I had my 25 week appointment today as well. Got to listen to heartbeat etc, which was lovely. Midwife reckons I'm exactly where I should be so seems to think I'll be discharged from the hospital at the 28 week appointment (I'm seeing the consultant then). Apparently baby is oblique which explains why I'm feeling kicks/punches in my hips. I think he's always been that way to be honest.

Also had physio today - mucho fun!! Bouncing round on gym balls. So I've had to go online to order myself one to keep up the exercises before I go back on the 13th. We are doing floor exercises then. I didn't think I'd done much, but then when I tried getting up half an hour later - really felt the workout in my tum. lol.

I will be fit for labour if it kills me.

The main offenders with Emma's Diary telesales are E-On, a book club and a life insurance company.

Twinklie glad your appointment went well, isn't it amazing listening to the heartbeat. I love it.
