Tash I got a fit to fly letter at my 25 week appt last week. The midwife had a stash of them pre-printed, she just wrote my name, due date and signed it.

    Congrats Hannah!

So hot again today, am fed up with working in this heat and it's so difficult to sleep to. Still I finish on Friday then fly to France on Monday. Will be hot there too but at least I can chill.

These first two pictures are what the room looked like when we first moved in, it was chocka block full of furniture, rubbish and old duvets etc, the walls were lime green and had felt tip pen drawings up them.

This is now - we've painted the walls white and one of them a pale yellow colour. It's not finished yet as still need the curtains and a chest of drawers as well as the bunting around the room and the cot making etc.

And then because I was bored I sorted out the wardrobe too. The drawers are in size order for bodysuits and sleepsuits. Top drawer is newborn, then 0-3 and 3-6 the little box is socks, bibs, mitts and hats and the top shelve is being used as storage for my steriliser etc and some wipes and nappies oh and my sling. I've also got another small chest of drawers which has blankets in, then one drawer has cot sheets and one drawer has crib/pram sheets in

Sorry if they are really big I tried to resize them but photobucket seems to have changed since I last used it x

Raspberry Tea, you can get capsules from H&B, and they work just as well. I started taking them from 34 weeks and I thought they worked wonders (as did the midwives) until he got stuck :D

All they do is strengthen the muscles of the uterus, but the tablets are easy enough to take x

I'm so jealous. I don't have a nursery to decorate! :( I have no chest of drawers or anything. I might actually cry.

Twinklie can you do any crafts hun? You could make a door sign, or some bedding, or some little peg bags for keeping stuff in, if you can sew you could make a nappy stacker. Or you could start a scrap book?

I really want to paint a lampshade as I can't find one I like x

It is hun yes, its the Jungle Fun one from Babies R Us. I didn't want to take it out of the packaging yet until nearer the time.

    This is the link http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Babies-R-Us/Nursery/Bedding/Coordinated-Ranges/Jungle-Fun-CotCotbed-Bedding-Set(0082363)

My mum bought us the cotbed set from BabiesRUs the other weekend when they had the 20% off offer on. So we got the cotbed, mattress, bedding set and matching changing mat for £160. It's really nice too.

She's not told my step dad yet though....

Love your nursery ikkle. That's the same range I want to go for from babies r us. We are going for the white cot though. Like kitten, I'm hoping they have a 20% off again before September.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
