Thanks whowants2brich, I know my OH gets frustrated over the amount of information out there for potential fathers. I have passed the link on to him although I think he does lurk around here occasionally too.
Hannah I think if anyone wanted to know, they could find out who I am with very little diggingI do occasionally worry about people following me from the real world though.

Does anyone know a place to get decent good value dressy maternitywear? I have a wedding at the end of July and I'll be around 29/30 weeks by then, and am struggling to find something that is a decent price. I dont want to spend a lot as I'll only wear it once.
I quite like this http://www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/sp+pink-floral-sundress-in-dresses+B4495 but there seems something strange about the neckline and they are out of stock in the 10s0 -

Glad you are looking after yourself museumworker. It has flown a little bit hasn't it?
I'm just hitting the stage where I'm starting to feel restricted by bump and things. Just can't quite do what I used to. Can feel myself slowing down and spent half of yesterday in tears because I felt useless. I feel beautiful today though! I love my bump.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Aren't pregnancy hormones just fabulous
I swap between one day feeling so terrified about having a baby, worried I'll be a bad mother, worried about how the baby will affect mine and OH's relationship, and then the next day feeling on top of the world, so excited and like I could conquer anything, and then day three would be back to feeling so negative. I'm all over the place. Cried because I dropped a slice of bread on the floor today :eek:0 -
Hi all can I join in please?I'm 27 weeks and due 21st august the time is flying by and I can't wait to meet my LO when he/she arrives! Quick question, i'm flying to Spain on friday and need to get fit to fly letter do you think my midwife will sign it? If not i'll have to get the doctor and i really begrudge paying £25 just for his signature! Thanks in advance!october gc-£74.80/ £200

moneypuddle you are so right. I'm exactly the same. I spilt milk yesterday and cried because it went inbetween my toes. Ha ha.
The change of relationship is a big one. Quite a few of my friends who have had babies in the last 2 years are now splitting up. My brother inlaw and his Mrs are on the verge as well - their LO will be 3 in July. It's certainly freaked my DH out.
I'm just hoping we use it as a wake up call to make sure we try and remember about OUR relationship in the long term as well as looking after the new edition. Fingers crossed. Loads of people do it, so I'm sure it's doable.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

I'm trying to look up pain relief and coping mechanisms for labour. I'm not allowed an epidural and they don't want to do a c-section, and I can't have a water birth, I'm personally feeling negative against pethidine as well so can rapidly see my options going down even though i was hoping to try with just gas and air I'm thinking looking into breathing techniques and hypno birthing etc might be a good idea.
ikkle, I went to an active birth workshop last saturday. It was awesome and all about trying to achieve as natural a birth as possible. Hypno-birthing was discussed a fair bit too. Basically if you learn some simple techniques, primarily around posture, movement and, most importantly, breathing, you can really take control and reduce your need for pain relief and intervention.
I can't recommend it enough. How easy is it for you to get to Portsmouth (for some reason I think you're near Southampton - are you?). If you are, then I can find out when the next dates are. The session is run by this utterly awesome midwife. I do pilates and aquanatal with her too."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Just back from my 24 week appt with the GP. All is well, heard the heart beat too
got my MatB form thingy too. Shattered now so good time for a little snooze
Big congrats Hannah glad you finally got your mummy cuddles. Good to hear you're settling in at home. Hope your midwife apot goes well.
Kitten Didn't know that Aurora is the name of sleeping beauty either, it's a beautiful name. Rory is sweet too.
Mishka they're lovely names. My fav is Caleb, but OH doesn't like itThe other two are lovely too. My godmother was telling a story about her soninlaw's sister. She actually registered her little girl as Zoe so she's got lots of cards etc but then within the 40 days she changed her mind and renamed and registered her Mia. It'll be hard if he pops out and the name doesn't suit him. I try and put myself of the names and think of words that rhyme with it etc.
Thank you for the sainsburys info. There's one across the rd and I found a voucher whilst tidying up
40,001 names book we've this too! It was a pressie from MIL. My personal favourite is "dusky dream" :rotfl: and OH's is Delete. Very strange.
WW2B thanks for that link, will pas it onto OH too.
Museum worker thanks for the reassurance. My worry with the annual leave is thAt my boss retires in April and I may come back to find its vanished IYSWIM. Glad you're feeling better. Sounds like you have a system that works for you. I'm also trying to get in the habit of seeing what I've done and not whAt I've not managed to do. Rest is the key.
Money puddle I've seen lovely things in new look. I'm ordering the maxi dress I've got in another colour now. I'm living in maxi dresses at the mo. Maybe check out asda and tesco online? Don't know what kinda budget you have, mamas and papas have lovely dresses but I think theyre quite pricey for a one off occasion.....oh how times have changed!
Welcome and congrats Tashmartin
Twinklie glad youre feeling better today. Hormones are just great
