ooh congratulations MissMoney! She looks lovely, and your big girls looks so proud!

Was so hot/uncomfy at work yesterday that I'm wearing the skimpiest clothes I could manage today (not a great choice as my mat wear is still limited and nothing else fits!), including my birkenstocks even though we're not meant to wear sandals in the lab. Yesterday afternoon it was about 30°C in there, so I had to abandon work and leave it for today. Going to get started in a min, it's cooler in the mornings! Think I need to go and buy some cropped maternity trousers/skirts if we're going to get weather like this all summer, or I'll be passing out before long :o

yay!! Massive congratulations Miss Money!! :T

All three of your girls are absolutely gorgeous.

Glad the birth was good - sorry about the aftermath. But all's well that ends well I suppose and now you're back home.

Hopefully your SPD has disappeared too. Also, you don't have to struggle on in this heat like the rest of us still preggers ladies!

Hopefully you'll still pop into the thread and let us know how you're getting on.

Congrats Miss Money :j:j Mabel (and your other two girls) are absolutely gorgeous, the girls look so pleased with their new sister :) The birth sounded perfect but sorry you had complications in the aftermath - at least you back home now though and can get on with recovering :D

(((hugs))) Gemma, hope you having a better day today

Took DS to school this morning and it dawned on me it is the last time I will be taking him without a baby (he's on hols for 2 weeks as of today)... very freaky feeling :o Today I have not much planned except I have to go and do some food shopping later, not looking forward to going out in the heat but it has to be done ;)

Hope all ok, ((hugs)) to those who need em :)

Many many congratulations to MissMoney :happyhear - all your girls are beautiful! Pleasesd to hear you had a smooth delivery and are recovering from the hospital bit. Keep posting! :)

Rebekah - I live in Norfolk on the east coast :)

Not in a good way today - my hands and feet have become even more swollen and itchy and now my engagement and wedding rings are truly stuck. My mum told me to take them off a couple of weeks ago and I really wished I had of listened. Have become a bit panicy as my finger is throbbing with them on - have tried raising hand, cold water, lotions everything. Have hospital appointment at 12.30 to discuss test results and am really worried now that the rings will have to be cut off :(

Will sit outside in the sun until then trying to calm down and ignore the pain :o

    Have a good day all

Triangle the heat from the sun can make swelling worse. Good luck at your appointment.

I get to go home from hospital today :):)

I really want to walk down to the shop to get some tuna before it gets too hot but I'm waiting for someone to come and pick a bed up. It used to be in the little bedroom and is like new. It's one of those single beds with another underneath that you can pull out to make 2 singles or a double. It's so handy to have but we don't have any room anymore. We couldn't find anyone who wanted it so we're donating it to a charity. The guy said he'd be here between 9 and 12, I'm hoping it's sooner rather than later. It's already 22 degrees in the house with the windows open!

Got lots of housework to do today as my bestest is coming to stay tomorrow and we are going to see Rhod Gilbert :j

Hope everyone has a good day and is not too uncomfortable. Labour vibes to all the what them.

    xx

Hi ladies, I have a question for anyone that lives near Bangor in N. Wales. I'm moving there at the end of July because that's where my hubby lives at the minute (he's doing his PhD) and we rent a cottage there.
Do you know of any baby groups/soft play facilities or anything in the area? I've tried google but apparently the people of N Wales aren't big on using the internet to promote these things. I'm just asking because I won't know anyone and want to make sure bubs and I get a good chance to socialise, bond and learn together when he arrives in September.

I'm sure I can find out more when I register with docs/hospital down there, but I just wondered if I could get a head start.
