Can someone explain how WW works. I don't know anything at all about it except that you count points. Does everyone have their own individual points? Ive looked online and in the WW magazine but it doesn't seem to explain. I would like to give it a try for a couple of days before I actually pay to join online to see if its a plan that would suit me.0

could i ask a question too, do you all used your weekly pro point ?0

It is a point based system. The amount of points you get to eat, depend on how much you weigh, therefore the more you lose, the less points you have to eat. I'm only in week one, so am very new to this. You get 49 bonus points to use and you can also earn points by exercising. I must admit that I don't plan on using the 49 bonus points and I tend to leave about 5 points each day just in case I'm not doing something right in my point counting...that said, I'm not going hungry. I'm trying to make myself have a big drink of water or tea when I'm getting that nibbles feeling!0

Two and a half pounds off this week! Really pleased, as I had a nice meal out Saturday, with a cocktail and a couple of glasses of bubbly. Thought I had pointed ok but never sure when I go out.
Two stone, five pounds to go...0 -

I do get bored with SW though and im hoping WW might bring something new and keep me interested. Otherwise i was thinking of joining the tesco diets...but havnt heard much feedback on this either. Anyone done either or both? Any recommendations welcome.
Have tried WW before but in the old days before its was all this pro points business, so have no idea how it works these days (think i was allowed 18 points last time and always seemed hungry, but im guessing this might have changed with this new fandango pro points thing???)

Hi Tigerfeet and Beachbeth
The Propoints plan is a really flexible plan now, with a daily points allowance and a weekly points allowance it makes living and having that "normal" life so much easier. There is also the benefit of lots of Filling and Healthy foods which are designed to keep you fuller for longer.
The minimum ProPoints anyone can be on is 26 daily PP and it is calculated by your age, gender, height and weight.
Beachbeth - it may be worth trying to get one of the free registration free meeting vouchers from the papers and go along to a meeting to see what its like and have everything explained to you there.

Morning everyone
First WI last night and I lost 6lb ! Very pleased although I realise that most of that is good old water retention :rotfl:. Going to go for the 1lb next week to get my first half-stone award.
For those that are unsure about starting, it is the only 'diet' (and I use that word very loosely !) that has ever got me down to my ideal weight. If, like me, you need someone to tell you when to stop eating because you've had enough today (e.g. you would just eat, and eat, and eat despite feeling full!), then this is the plan you need. As has been mentioned, there is a voucher at the moment on the website so you can print it off, go along, get all the info and see if it's suited to you. The only thing you have to lose is your weight !!
I still had 22 weekly points left so I'm going to try and use a few more up - I'd rather use them and be able to take them away later if my weight plateaus.
Have a good week everyone :beer:Save £12K challenge 2015 # 173£0.00/£10,0000 -
