    Another 2.5lb gone for good ! :j

12lb in total now, not long until I get to that stone :D

I start a new job tomorrow (I already started actually, but that's another story), so I'm going to have to be super-duper organised and prepare my lunch to take ........... otherwise the temptation to nip into Greggs (which is dead opposite where I work!) could be too much :o.

Dinners will have to be organised but I'm quite lucky as I have a DH who does shifts and who seems to be here more than he works  :D - he'll be doing a lot of the cooking ;).

Hope you all have a good week !

  • Could we start posting recipes and things we find that are low in points.

I always save 3 points a day for a 2 finger kick at or a curly wurly which are only 3 points each
  • Afternoon Everyone!

    Please can I join you??

Have joined WW online and had first WI today - lost 2lbs! Yay!

My BF and I are trying to get healthy together and this is part of the reason for joining. I have done WW before tho always on the old system which I liked and found worked well.

I'm still getting used to the new system so will be looking on here for tips etc.

    Many thanks

  • I lost another 2 lbs this week. That's over a stone gone now and it's never going back on.

Hope everyone has a good result this week. :)
  • I'll admit that since Christmas I've only been doing this half-heartedly and the weightloss has slowed considerably because of this. BUT I am now on track and I'd like to give a little inspiration for some of the newer posters on the thread.

At my wedding in May last year, my wedding dress was a 'small 16' but I was very definitely at least a 14. I gained MORE weight after the wedding (a two week all inclusive honeymoon in Sicily didn't help!!). I started weightwatchers in mid September with my mum and my brother's fiancee. Last night I got my second stone and I'm 'only' 2lb off being a healthy weight for my height.

I have a wedding to go to in May - my brother's. I was shopping for dresses at the weekend and (as you do) I automatically picked up the size 14. The woman in the changing room then offered to go and get it in a smaller size for me as it literally fell off. After trying the 12, she offered (again) to go and get the smaller size. I have told my brother's fiancee that I'll be leaving the tag hanging out!

The second 'inspiration' for you is my brother's fiancee. She ordered her wedding dress in September and joined WW in either October or November. She needs the bust taking in 5 inches, the waist taking in 8 inches and the hips about 7 inches.

If you stick with it, it DOES work!!
Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP

  • 2lb this week, 2lb to go and I'll have lost 15% of my body weight. Can't imagine it'll be this week though, I'm off on a girls' weekend to Centerparcs!

26pp might be around 1040 calories......but don't forget fruit and veg does have calories even though they have no pro points.

If you aren't eating fruit and veg as well as your 26 points then your body may go into starvation mode
