I'm onto paper plates... srsly. There's a stack of them in the cupboard and they'll only be thrown out if I don't use them in the next 2-3 weeks... so today I've eaten twice and used paper plates twice

Makes me wonder what common household machine the NPs could live without most easily?

I don't watch the telly at all, but catch up on shows on the computer.

Reminds me, must sound out the family about getting rid of the cable TV package.;)

I have a telly as there's one in this room..... I don't actually own one. I couldn't watch online because my dongle's not up to that (too slow -and- bandwidth limits).

A telly, for most single people living alone, is 'company'.

I've never had cable.... but then I've never lived in a house/whatever that could receive cable. Never had/seen Sky though.... I have no gadgets or electronic stuff (ipad, satnav, etc)... in fact I've never seen a satnav in real life and never touched an ipod/ipad etc

For me it's the dishwasher. I have one in my kitchen and it is just not used. There's only two of us so it seems a bit pointless. There's never enough stuff to load it and if I have to leave it and pre-soak it I may as well wash it up anyway.

My parents think I'm a luddite. Well, until that is the time I have to show them how to read the texts on their phones, again.

Spent ages finding a reasonably priced black dishwashre to fit our colour scheme.

It broke down after 4 months and we waited about 3 for Hoover to fix it and it has never actually been very good at getting the dishes clean, most things needing washing by hand first to prevent food drying on.

    Still it looks nice....
    I think....

I could easily live without an iron. I think they should be banned.

I couldn't live without a power shower or washing machine. Or tumble dryer.
Electric lights, tv, food mixer, bread maker, liquidiser, tv remote control.....laptop, microwave......maybe that's why the electricity bills are so high.

I've probably not ironed a single thing since about 1998.

I've never seen/used a power shower. Washing machines are handy, although I'd be happy with a communal facility (not a public one).

I've never used a food mixer, nor a liquidiser. I've got a small food chopping/blender thing, I was bought it as a present in 2005 and not used it yet .... but I will, once I get settled.

Months  I found myself signing up to Linked in messaging so I could complain to the marketing director I was so frustrated. Allegedly they had closed their factory in Wales (?) and shipped the machine tools to the far east and had to wait for them to get there and turn them on befor ethey could get the part needed :(

did you consider returning it to the retailer for a refund?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
