Asda shouldn't be allowed to sell 24 mini chocolate/orange mini-rolls in a bag for just £3.... I'll say no more :)

My current storage solution, 1m square on the floor, probably 2.5m tall (I can't really work in metres, but it's 8 foot tall) is about £35/month. Most storage places don't have spaces that small though.

Those expensive HDMI cables are a pure rip-off IMO.
If the thing is decently shielded and connectors are not too flimsy it's fine. It's digital signal anyway, either the 1's and 0's come through - or they don't. :)

The trouble is, as it's digital, you've only got a 1 in 10 chance of that though :)

They usually perform the same but the more expensive ones often have better protection. Who cares about that when the cheaper ones do the same job.

If it fails then just get another one.

I just took a break to watch Countdown. Any of you watch that? Nick Heyer was on top form today.

First he asked Rachel what does OMG stand for. There's a gulp on her part and a noticeable pause before she came back "Oh my gosh". Quick thinking there, as mustn't use the G word.

Second, one of the contestants was a prison officer. He was well in the lead, and after he won yet another round, Nick Heyer said "Another turn of the screw."
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Any one know how hard it would be to convert old carriage lights into wall lights? Feasible or not?

When we bought our TV the guy tried to sell us a £90 HDMI cable. He said it was better quality gold!

I suspect that it is the number of 1's and 0's that come through that matters.

Probably straight forward. Even if you need to rewire.
