For those following middle east uprisings, radio four now is discussing internets involvment,0

As long as you are inside driving it doesn't matter how ugly the outside is as you can't see it.
Yes, I've followed that philosophy, up to now. The car is still pretty clean & tidy inside and looks much the same as when I purchased it in 2005.
However, it no longer feels quite the same. It's obvious a new clutch will soon be needed, and a few things have stopped working properly, like the driver's door window. It's also not worth putting a tow bar on to compensate for losing the van when we get rid of that.
But what to buy? It has to be an estate, it needs to pull a trailer occasionally and it mustn't cost big bucks, because it will spend much of its year caked in mud and being squeezed into hedges, as we don't have many of lir's verges 'round yer.'0 -

No, some of those deep roads with high banks and hedges are formidable. I joumped one of those roads once, not voluntarily, on a horse that knew the country well. Ever snce then i knpow however annoying reversing is iits one of the occasions i would rather be in a car than on a horse in such a circumstance!0 -
Heating fixed!
Now Isaac has chickenpox....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I have a saying every morning "Better turn the news on, just in case the Queen died in the night and I wouldn't know". That happened to me when Princess Di died. I got up, pottered about, went swimming with a neighbour, as we left the pool at gone 5pm she said to me "dreadful about Di isn't it?" and I said "what?"0 -

Isaac's very cross indeed that he can't go to school....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Yes, then they started to put it in brown glass bottles.
I remember, because I was in a terrible rush one morning & swigged down a big draught of 'kaolin & morphine' for my Delhi belly. Turned out it was Calamine, so I felt a lot worse!
