It's stopped raining now .... did toy with the idea of putting some boxes in the car and doing a quick run, also to check if the winds had taken fences down over there.... and if it'd been 2 hours earlier I'd have bothered.0

The only box we have that needs ro be moved is opne dh started to fill. In a moment of stunning lack of common sense he thought he would put dog poo in a cardboard box. In the rain.0

LOL.....
IHOP is good, but nothing beats a waffle house chicken sandwich with hash browns (scattered, smothered, covered and chunked).
Denny's is OK too...“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Way more gross. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I wish the UK had those types of places.
I do miss the American diner concept, with a short order cook serving up fast food cooked to order.
I've been watching 'Man v Food' a lot lately (another guilty pleasure) and it does make me yearn for some of that food.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Bacon and syrup is not eww.
Why dog poo in a box. Well, it made sense at first. We burn our dog poo atm. Not very environmentally friendly, but we are trying to fine better solutions.
The dogs produce a great deal of poop atm, partly because for ease i Am feeding them dog food, not raw food. So we get loads of the stuff. We use a horse style poop scoop for dog poo, but that doesn't even take a daily amount, so if you leave it a while....and i didn't pick up all this week, there are a lot of trips out to wear we burn in it, and a few gates, so sometimes we put a cardboard box in a wheel barrow to protect the barrow and fill that to take over to burn. Most of the wheel barrows have flat tyres atm, and dh thought he wo
Uld make a start on the dog poo (its my job really) while i finished the horse barn, but did not think that getting the box iinto the barrow might be tricky.
Its not really a great story, but .....you did ask!0 -
I don't know what it is with bacon and syrup lir but it's just something I don't get. I like sweet/savory combos, like the cheese and honey thing. I'd probably understand the bacon thing better if in the places I went to it was done with real maple syrup, but its normally that high fructose corn syrup stuff which has a different level of sweetness to the real stuff, imo that is so sweet it stifles everything. Maybe it's just that I don't hang out in high end enough establishments! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Have you got one of those heat pack things? Either a gel one or the sort with wheat or something will do. When my neck was at its worst, a heat pack made the difference between being able to carry on with some semblance of normality and grinding to a complete halt. I remember being at work with a scarf holding the heat pack to my neck, faffing about at break and lunch heating the thing back up with a jug of boiling water.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
