Not directly no...I was just poking a bit of fun at the various descriptions for those on benefits. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

If it had been up to me, I wouldn't have told any of the kids about it until and unless it became definite.

That makes a bowl of soup with onion/baguette/cheese about £2.40.
Pfft... I could eat for two days for that much
Or, I could have 4 microwave kebabs and 2-3 bowls of chocolate custard.
My cans must be ancient, i wouldn't paythat forit either. Not when i can make it and freeze iti0 -
You're right Lydia, it's best not to say anything until the big people have decided
PN, I guess you could flour the onions a bit once they've cooked down nice and sloppy and use an OXO cube for pennies, (or proper beef stock in a bag for poshness, costs about £1). And freeze a load for later.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

If you've any family in any charity/mutual/public sector jopb e.g teaching, Post office, army etc. you can join the Benenden Healthcare scheme. They have a 24 hour gp for telephone advice amongst other services. You have to be with them for six months before some of the services kick in, but the gp helpline is available as soon as you join. You pay monthly and it's supposedly good but I don't know anyone personally who's had to use it. More affordable than BUPA at any rate (it's about £ 6 per month I think).
Thanks zag. DH and I don't have BUPA and can't get true private healthcare so that could be a good option for us.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
