Found a frozen bag of Rice Fusions and some microwave chips in the freezer
WIN!
Edit: And a hardly used bottle of Heinz Limited Edition Tomato Ketchup with Indian Spices in the cupboard (that isn't that good really, but a small splash on the side will be something to dip the chips into).0 -
Toasted sandwhich?
I hate sandwhich toasters, i think i must be the only person who does no occasionally enjoy getting the filthy thing out of the cupboard, with memeories of student days or cold afternoons or some such, but i do like toasted sandwiches that have not been squashed to a strange welded triangle but lovingly tended in an almost dry frying pan.
Would that be an option PN?0 -

Now I use a dry frying pan to make toasted sandwiches - they're flat, full and you can see what's going on.
However, I'm too scared to use the hob here, especially as it's after dark. Never used it - don't like the look of it - scared it'll catch fire and I don't want to evacuate in the dark.
Anyway, had my rice and chips now. Those Rice Fusions are bl00dy nice.... keep an eye out for when they're on special anywhere. I picked some up at £1 for a bag containing two pouches, so 50p each and they nuke in 3.5 minutes.
Edit: Just looked at mysupermarket and they're £1 in Tesco (I had the mediterranean one, that's not reduced there) http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/#/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=rice+fusions&Store=Tesco&Sort=Relevance

Seem to be lots of people around asking about how to do SEO and drive traffic to websites to make a profit. If only I knew how to do this there seems to be lots of money available in explaining it to other people...how about a business model where you found someone with good content but poor seo/conversion and offered to drive their traffic for a small upfront fee to cover development time plus cut of their income. As I say not something I know how to do but there must be other people who could make it work?I think....0

And - what I do is similar to that anyway, as an affiliate.
You can't measure an increase in business easily.
The negotiations are long and you end up having to really answer nit-picky questions and convince people they need it.
I can do it ... I can't sell it to others, nor do I want to get into daft meetings of having to justify stuff and produce stats. Been there, done that, in 2006 ....0 -
... not sure where that question came from, out of the blue.
Don't forget: I am moving at least twice, if not more, in the next 5 weeks, living out of a suitcase, don't have access to effective systems/software to carry out the work for anybody else, nor the analysis tools .... need a new PC (this one takes 15 seconds to draw a 1" line in the basic program paint), I don't even have a desk, or a proper lightbulb ... and within 6 weeks I will be 200 miles away. I am selling a house that's not mine, don't have a landline nor any proper or reliable broadband at all (dongle only).
I also have no desire to "start my own business" in the main - and certainly not under current circumstances....
.... so the question seemed to really be "right out there"/0 -
Back from the gig...it was brilliant! They even had an surprise finale with a solo female singer which they arranged in about 30 seconds flat....they all completely stole the show.
Packing the kit up in the car, transporting it back to my parents and unpacking the kit was not so much fun but I broke the journey in two by accepting an invitation to the bassist's house to be fed and watered by his mum (I hadn't had time for an evening meal earlier between ferrying equipment and band members to the soundcheck and picking up youngest from one babysitter and taking him to another!)
They also got paid! Ok, only a fiver each and by the grandad of the lead guitarist but you would have thought they had been paid a million pounds the way they reacted, they were all so chuffed.
Eldest filmed their two lots of stage time..in total they did 8 songs, the most they have ever done live.
Viva -Yep, it was her attitude and offensive manner to others with ASD and her sense of entitlement (along with her being a bigot) which got to me. You only have to look at the lads tonight (two of the band members have Aspergers) to see that people with ASD have potential and are not blithering idiots incapable of doing anything. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

That's brilliant, Sue!
My family are musical but I never inherited it so I've no talent to pass on there. It must be heartwarming to see your son performing in front of an audience and getting the credit he deserves.:)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
It certainly is, it makes all the years of hard work on the various therapies so so worth it.
I'm relieved we stumbled (accidently) on the fact that music calmed him and not only that, but that he is also musically talented. We made it! Came across another brain-teaser today to share with the NPs
Four people need to cross a rickety bridge in the dark. They have only one torch which they need to carry to avoid falling and the bridge can’t hold more than 2 people without breaking. It’s going to break in 17 minutes time anyway.
The four people have different maximum speeds .
John can cross in 1 minute, George in 2 , Paul in 5 and Ringo in 10.
How do they get across in time (they’ve no jetpacks, giant catapults, spare torches or any other gimmicks)?
Any takers? Just post it on here, don't worry about PMing it. First correct answer gets all the kudos /glory/respect.:)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0
