I was just mulling the idea of an indian takeaway ... and suddenly the rain's started beating like hailstones against the window.... that sorts out the answer to that one then. No way am I going to walk or drive out in this weather just for food.

Edit: Oh - it IS hail....

Dh is mixing a cocktail. Seems like forever since we had a cocktail. I don't really want it, so he will be having one a big half. :)
I can't recall ever having a cocktail ... might have had a bottled one in a pub at some random point in the past. Certainly never seen anybody mix/drink one in real life though.

Oh, i don't see him, he scurries around in the dining room doing it after forty mins deciding what we will have and finding we do not have the ingrediants we want. So making something else instead. Later on in the year he will give up the 'we must have novelty' thing and we will have things he knows better with ingredients we actually have.:D

I know why it is winding you up and dare I say it is something you may be a bit too close to, but if someone did say to the wife "please also realise that Aspergers doesn't mean that your husband can't work" that wouldn't be a bad thing either. Please don't get stressed over it.

OK, I have now read the thread and can see what you are so wound up by. I too was getting stressed over it, I really need to learn to follow my own advice:o. You got wound up over the Aspie issue, I got wound up over the sense of entitlement, the fact she's got her fingers in her ears and doesn't listen and the fact she's a bigot. Oh there's something there to frustrate everyone.

I only really agreed with one of the choices on the voice  some of them were close though.

My guilty pleasure too:o. I didn't enjoy the format as much as the blind rounds though. Didn't enjoy all of the battles. The one to Elvis I had to leave the room as it was too excrutiating.

missk is further ahead on this than us and hopefully she'll be able to answer this. Will.i.am hinted that there will be a save available for one of the people and that he would give it to Jay. I liked both Jay and Jaz and hope both go through, wondered if this is actually feasible.

Given that I watch a lot of this type of cr&p, I should also say I was really shocked that Colton got kicked out on American Idol this week. Having said that, no matter how big the cr*p I watch is, I can't bring myself to watch BGT - it's like running fingernails down a blackboard.

Booo... I don't like frozen bread either. Beans on toast? That's what DH had for dinner, largely because he forgot to eat and it was quick.

I have beans on toast most days ..... well, about 20x a month for a kind of breakfast/lunch thing.... I kind of fancied something a bit tasty ... and I thought an egg/salad cream sandwich would go down a treat...
