Unfortunately, I don't think that would work due to the rules of the hosting company (who have their own adverts on the site).

Some people have suggested charging for the use of our site but that would go against the whole ethos of the site...it was set up as a free site run by fans for the fans.

It does have its benefits, I am keeping my management, admin and delivering to a tight schedule in a stressful enviroment skills honed ready to be put back into action in a real job plus teaching me about marketing at the same time!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Trampolines should always be sited as close to your own house as possible .... so many people put them furthest from the house so neighbours can spend their spare time being annoyed by noisy kids, being naughty as they're out of sight of their parents, and faces appearing every 1.5 seconds over the fence.

I thought you were going to say....so that the ambulance man has a shorter walk.

They should be sited on grass rather than patios to cushion falls.

If they are at the bottom of your garden, they will be near the bottom of your neighbour's garden and beyond the bottom of the back-to-back's garden, so furthest from all houses.

Current use of the trampoline is either an adult using it instead of a ladder to prune trees or as a lounger for sunbathing/ eating take away pizza.

Cost £1500 for parents to remove 5 trees but got tons of firewood out of it!
Looking around up here and wondering for the 5000th time what's the big advantage of living in London..

Even in built-up areas there's so much space you've not got buildings in every line of sight which I've realised is all you see in London whichever direction you look. :(

We are very near the green belt and can walk there for miles and forget we are so near London.

You are inspiring to so many of us. :)
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
    :)

The worst bit about being responsible is when you're about to leave the house for something important that has to be done .... and you realise your site is down and it's YOU that has to sort it out .... so many problems can occur that need dealing with immediately.

There is actually a lot more walking/bridleways in the green belt than pin most rural areas.

I still prefer rurality personally, but the green belt really does offer an amazing respurce for those who live near enough to use them.

Here, we took the dogs to the local dog walking spot today despite the horrid weather and they layed with a pair of spaniels. Big dog was not impressed when a cocker spaniel suggested they start a family though!

Special girl had a massage from a physio friend of mine today, and lopoks much better for it. We now have exercises to do twice a day to keep her more comfortable.

That theory only works with big/ger gardens. Down this way gardens are very small on average - it's one of the things you notice when moving to the area, that gardens are smaller. Lots of places don't even have roads and houses are typical 14th to 16th century one-up-one-down fishermen's cottages with pedestrian access only .... so when houses in the 1800-1900s had 30' of garden that's quite big.

It's because you've been conned, had a knock back... first the sunny days and summer was to be looked forward to... hurrah for summer... then this turn of weather and now it's the weekend and you'd like to enjoy your time together but you were robbed and it's wet ......

That's the biggest issue I have about working - you go to work at about 16, you stop at about 60-65 (66-70) .... and in all that time you never ever ever get a break to enjoy the nice weather if/when it randomly appears.

It's a fairly new thing, to have paid holidays in jobs, and I really became very tired of that total loss of any life and access to sun when working.
