Up visiting sister, went to shops. Four cans of Director's bitter at the local Home Bargains, £3.50 (it was £5.50 when I last saw it in London).
I'm always surprised when bitter turns up in Scotland anyway but at that price my boot's going to be full for the journey home!:beer:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Lesson 2
Do not put any of the correct details in to the comparison site (use mr t test at next doors address, don't know registration etc) as otherwise when you find the cheapest company and approach it via a cashback site like quidco or topcashback you can't be sure that you will get the £20-£60 commission rather than the comparison site.Lesson one.
Do NOT put the correct telephone number into the comparison site.
You need to give them a correct email address, and the home address has to be correct for a quote, but your telephone number is not necessary and will only be used to annoy you with spam calls.I think....0 -

Last time I glanced at my passport photo I realised I'd cross the road to avoid that face if it was a dark night!

Loving the mental image of you changing a tyre while swimming and riding a bike, zag. :rotfl:Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

just make sure you fill up on that nice £1.50/litre petrol again to make sure you receive no net benefit whatsoever!0 -
approach it via a cashback site like quidco or topcashback
I am sorry.

I really should have found an alternative to using the dealer, but they phoned me up and I knew it all needed doing, so thought it best to just book in and be done with it for this year.

What?! You need to go and have a look around MSE proper!
I've had over £1500 in cashback from Quidco just from buying things I'd have bought anyway. And I always compare prices online first and then look for cashback, just so I don't get seduced purely by the cashback.
I've missed a bit when I've shopped in certain places and didn't realise you could get cashback, but now I have the toolbar as well that tells me what the cashback is each time i visit a website.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
