Not quite chocolate, but in a similar vein:

Have started looking around at houses recently. Will probably want to move in a couple of years (or 5) and it takes me that long to get clear in my mind what I want. Then negotiate with the Mrs.
Bigger kitchen/diner on the back of the house is on the list. But bit bigger than yours if poss!
Have seen this one

and think it's the right size.
House is a semi though. So off the list.
That's quite a lot of house in Hagley. I love big kitchens like that too.
You find the house, I'll make the kitchen. You pay for it.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Re the house, I'd say they got a d4mned good price. I could have held on for longer, for another buyer, for one of those offering more to have sold theirs. I could have actually put it on the market for £8-18k more than I did to "see if anybody bites". But I feel it went on at a fair price and I wasn't unrealistic when the offers flooded in and a lucky winner was picked.
It's in a fabulous location, bl00dy good sized rooms (in comparison with similar style houses) and has good outbuildings and suntrap garden.
It has scope to extend/improve .... or just to be lived in (remember how people used to do that??). Livable in - yet work needs doing.
They've made a top choice and struck a great deal.0 -
Doozer - I remember you posting about this.
I'm hoping that someone will take me out to Broadway tower following your recommendation last year. I'm desperate to get out the house! I seem to recall you mentioning a great/picturesque road and so on.
The plan is to go on to stow on the wold as well.
Any particular recommendations/good roads/places to eat etc?
TIA.It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

It is very windy too - my greenhouse blew down the garden this morning!
It's yuck, isn't it? Put on my proper raincoat raincoat today.
Part of the roof of one of our Heath Robinson outbuildings has blown into the neighbours garden and when I popped to the shop and opened my car door it was simply swept out of my hand and thrown completely open making a rather disturbing sound when it got to the reach of the hinges.
Thanks goodness I'm precious about the car as luckily I'd parked *just* far enough from the next one that it didn't crash into it. If that had happened, and in the spilt second I thought it would, I'd have been more worried about their car than mine. I'd had been mortified!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I remember you not really liking posh restaurants. The lunch menu here is cheaper than the a la carte and I do love it.

But in Broadway itself there are loads of places, in fact, I just looked at the menu at The Swan and the light lunch is exactly the same as the Victoria in Barnt Green for some reason and that was great value for money and really tasty. We've been there twice this month for lunch, so if the Swan is the same, then I'd heartily recommend the food there too.

I'd sign up for their newsletter as they sent me a voucher for a free glass of wine which was valid for two weeks when I did. Very MSE
