Elder is 5' 10+" and could be a bit taller, younger is 6' 1.5" and would prefer to be shorter. OH is 5' 11". OH's parents are 5'7" and 4'11" - so they are all quite lucky really.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Wow, they are lucky. Dh's dad is about five feet tall, and his mother tiny, so we thought dh did well to reach five seven or eight ish. He is a giant in his family and in italy..

Always nice to have a stalker. Next thing you'll be reciting my vital statistics.
Can I buy you three pints of hobgoblin, you have lovely eyes, was your father a thief?0 -

Yeah, avoid the black country if possible I don't know if Hagley is technically inside but it's close enough and if you take a wrong turn you'll end up in Kidderminster :vomit smiley:
The accent is like a plague of locusts. Still comes out a bit when I'm pished unfortunately.0 -

Both my parents are 5ft 7 but they were born in 1945 and therefore ate nothing but spam for the first 5 or 6 years of their lives. My granddad on my mum's side was the same height as me tho.
A couple of inches either side of 6ft is a good height I reckon, any taller than 6ft 2 and you start to look all a bit wrong, either an awkward beanpole if you're skinny, or just a massive lump if not.0 -

Shrunk with age?0 -
Mr Spirit is 6'3 and me 5' and 1/2inch.
My mum was infamous amongst family and friends for making personal comments which were not intended to insult but hit the mark every time. Following a successful stay with us when she had not been rude to any of us, I was driving her home feeling mellow and warm however it was a journey of 2.5 hours- during which she said " G (Mr S) has got much better looking as he has got older. He is not so gawky looking. He has grown into his features. You, on the other hand, have gone completely the other way".
Bless her.0 -

Hmm, bless, or damn to hell?
My mother is similarly silky tongued. Dh gets really cross wither her sometimes. Her fabourite atm is to sigh deeply and say 'you were such a beautiful child, and a hideous teenager, and a beautiful young woman. Maybe after menopause you will blossom again'.
My mother is actually very, very beautiful, her face really was her fortune, a beautiful woman, who is still beautiful in old age. It made her no easier to live with.0 -

Well I'm not sure which description fits me.
