Slightly better, but not enough to compensate. I took the little car to the manned car wash, was chatting (sweetly-see previous post) to the guy in charge. It came time to pay and I had a fully stamped loyalty card so I was expecting to pay the difference between the inside+outside wash and the outside only, and the guy said I could have it free. So that is the 3rd thing today, things always happen in threes.

So you work hard to save a couple of quid and DH turns his nose up at £125 for sitting reading a paper/magazine for a bit.

you can try to take your passport in later, but it's currently mid way through a boil-wash in my washing machine, along with wheezy's. i was too busy today to get anyone else's.
