Daisies in the lawn, celandine under the trees, six flower buds on a strawberry plant, !!!!! willow, piles of animal hair on the barn floor, in patches in the field and on gateposts, me putting my pots outside, brown earth being relaved with green leaves of plants i had forgotten about, dh's first tan lines of the year.
Didn't realise 'goat' was on the swear filter's list....:(
Oh, wait a minute......:o
You can blame that on Mrs Slocombe, I think.0 -

Yes, he's one of those plant-obsessed men with beards. Nice bloke, and I see he now sells Woodruff too. He bought something from me, but I can't remember what. Might have been a shade-tolerant aster: A schreberi.
For those of you not into gardening, we have just agreed a sale on our old one. Details in 'another place.'0 -
bought 6 hellebores.
And lir, thanks for the link, will get some plants from there after we get back from sicily, don't want them to be dessicated when we get back.
Ooh, lucky you!
This morning thinking about my shadey bit i have been considering some epimediums. I like the orangey ones, both on that website and cheaper than crocusbut there are soneother fantastic less common ones that i love. I have never had them, so need to find out how tough they are. I would love to fill all the gaps there with them now, but will prbably be for next spring more realistically.:o. Googling image shows some that must be exotic and not suitable for my cold garden!

No, no, you got it wrong. Most NPT's like mushrooms, but it's the ones who don't who are more vocal about it. :cool:0 -

No, wheezy, i think we are in the minority! Odd isn't it? Last week i made a lovely sheperdess pie with mushrooms in it and would have eaten it every day for a month....the mushrooms were one of the best bits.0 -

Been to Birmingham for the weekend.
Never been there, it was quite nice, doggy liked it too.
For some reason they had their St. Patrick's parade yesterday, I thought St. Patricks was next week?
So on the way out we had to zig zag between some drunk individuals , but it was all good.0
