I'm in the against corner too. I don't at a push mind mushroom soup, or very exotic mushrooms; but really, really don't like the others, especially the cheap nasty ones that could double as pencil erasers.
ETA: I seem to remember a lot of the veggies didn't like them (I'm a veggie) and the conclusion was that they have a vaguely meaty taste. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Excellent, it seems I only have to fight viva and sss555s, should be able to polish them both off in short order and celebrate with a mushroom stroganoff.0

Mushrooms
- may be there is a !!!!!! who could teach me to overcome my prejudices?
Ice - couldn't live without it - how did people manage before they had unlimited ice available form the front of the fridge?
Lemon - don't mind it but not a deal breaker.
I have lost the wire that connects the laptop to the car and turns of the warning lights on the dash. I think they have changed the MOT so you have to have the lights off to pass. I haven't seen the wire since I took the car to the garage for its last MOT...the garage that charges £60 quid a time to plug their own wire in and turn the lights off...hmmm :think:I think....0 -

Ice - manage it? Well the same way I do it now, put water into an ice tray and pop it in the freezer for 24 hours :rotfl:
They have a wire that does that? Blimey.....
On the lemon and ice question, I like both...because I like to crunch the ice (I was rather obsessed with the stuff when in labour) and lemon to eat and freshen.
James is ok, he has to take some medication for a couple of weeks and see the doctor again but it could all be connected to his EDS as what the doctor thinks he has is extremely rare for someone of his age and build to develop. Unfortunately, James didn't quite catch what the doctor thought it was, only the above information! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

You can't talk your way out of this one viva!0 -
Ice - only in summer
Lemon - preferably not, and especially not in coke
Mushrooms - used to hate them, happy to eat them now as long as not the huge field ones with black undersides (shudder)
Meat - yes (since we're looking for a correlation between mushroom-hating and being veggie)Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

lemon - always. hot lemon tea or hot water with lemon most refreshing

meat - yes
rescuing furry rodents - no0 -
