You sure he isn't going to watch the GP and just not letting on?
Edit, What concert can be worth going that far for?
There's a few bands I'd travel that far for.
Especially if you could turn it into a bit of an "event".It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Regarding gay marriage (& I'm only partway through the discussion) why don't the catholics "turn the other cheek", "love their neighbour" & exercise a little "forgiveness"?
After all, considering what an increasing number of catholic priests have been up to, surely it is a logical next step? It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Not a band, a singer. Its looking less likely now though. We've been to Australia to see this person before as well:o, though at least that was for 3 weeks and I got to see the family as well. If he could get to Melbourne, my cousin works in St Kilda and he could stand and watch the GP from their roof terrace. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Remember telling a friend about the salt thing. He thought it a great idea. Next time I visited there was a circle of salt around every plant. He thought it was great. None of his plants got nibbled.
Then it rained...:rotfl:It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Because its not just 'the catholics'. The big news on sunday was about the letter to anglican parish churches throughout england and wales!
Imo, the logical thing to do if not enough existing churches of whatever denomination are willing to have weddings is to found a new christian denomination, its happened many times before and they are well established and powerful now, there is no reason i can think opf it could not happen again.
Lj, you asking someone who truely believes it is wrong to do it could be compared to some one forcing you to do something you thing is wrong....government imo can prevent wrong actions....like forbiod the use of child saxrifice for the sort of witch craft we hear about, prescribe limits on the age we allow marriage...even if others believe younger is ok, but to force someone to do something seems dodgier. I am not sure my arguemnt follows through...i do think peple should be compelled to actively do something like pay taxes.0 -

Vegetarian.
It was so good i wish i could make it again this week. Though i think the name is odd. In this house its the woman left to do the murderous deeds often enough. Dh saw one of the rats yesterday and froze. I would have missed it but i would have made an attempt to whack it with something.0 -

Almost-filled a tumbler of water and a squirt of washing-up liquid. Once the flies landed on the ceiling, we raised the glass under them and once they detect the air disturbance they drop two inches to turn the right way up for flight.
They landed in the water, which had no surface tension, so they sank into it. In a couple of minutes killed a few dozen of the blighters and no toxic insecticides needed.:cool:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Been to Birmingham for the weekend.
Never been there, it was quite nice, doggy liked it too.
For some reason they had their St. Patrick's parade yesterday, I thought St. Patricks was next week?
So on the way out we had to zig zag between some drunk individuals , but it was all good.
Where did you go?No we are not LIR.
We are simply bullied into thinking we are.
But it stops right here, right now.

Came across an environmentally friendly way of getting rid of flies. There was a swarm of them in a room where we couldn't use flyspray but we had a stepladder.

When I came back from Florida my case wasn't full of the normal American tourist stuff but materials to make flyscreens. Come the Summer we won't need a glass of water here:cool:.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
