It's got beaches and railways and shops and stuff. Should be good. Rents are high though; have to get one of those jobs malarkeys.
There are websites that tell you the crime rates for areas.
Start with https://www.police.uk that will tell you the type of crime and the asbo's in your target area.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. 1 bed LHA there is £520/month .... when I am really looking for something at £400... and so now forced to look at something about £520 just to be in with a fighting chance that the place has got running water (and not down the walls).

And chinese buffets round this way at £9, not £4.99. And they're only in winter - and a 20 mile round trip.
Yeah, I have been experiencing that in recent times....the boys don't always want to be seen out in public with mum.
The chinese buffet is £9.99 any other day of the week, much too expensive for us to afford. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
NPs, do any of you know how to search for a word in a series of files? I'm looking for some data on a company but it is in one of my many excel spreadsheets. I can get this down to a folder, but would still need to look through about 60 workbooks without a search function. The old version of Windows had a search function, but some numpty appears to have removed it from Windows 7. Any ideas??? Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? In a way, that bodes well for their future. The blow in your case is the lack of ability to leave the younger ones so you can reignite a social life to make a transition into their adult hood easier on all of you. I have thught that several times and admired you a lot.0 -

It's a stage, once they get past the "can't be seen with rents*" stage, they move on to the "fine if your paying" stage.
rents=parents, too much effort to have 2 syllables in a teenagers vocab!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. "Start typing in the Start menu search box, and you'll instantly see a list of relevant files on your PC. You can search by typing the name of the file, or based on its tags, file type, and even contents. To see even more matches, click a category in the results, like Documents or Pictures, or click See more results. Thanks silver, tried that already but it doesn't work for me. It works for everything else: file names, file extensions and so on, but I just can't get it to work for a word in a file when I don't know what file that word is in and its not in the title (I'm after a single record about a single company that's in an excel spreadsheet). Thanks for trying. I'm starting to get tired and at the point where I get things wrong even when they are right, so maybe I need to try again in the morning with a fresh pair of eyes. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
